I’m offering this without comment, mainly because my jaw is still on the floor.

I’d really like to know more about Dutch sex education. I’ve heard good things. Very matter of fact, not laughing, icky etc. But I am struggling to think it’s actually like this.

I suspect this is a very twisted paedophiles wet dream version of what is actually taught there, which would be plan basic facts and definitions, not graphic misrepresentations.

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 30/09/2019 14:03

Or actually many of these things because, Overton window n'all.

But, y'know, wankers gotta wank.

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 30/09/2019 14:02

The All About Me stuff has gone from their website but the Respect Yourself stuff is still there with all the liberating bukake and an entry on 'bucket' in which it talks about having a 'bucket fanny'. Which was nice.

I just don’t see the benefit of speaking to teenagers about coprophilia, even if it’s a roaring success in Holland

Or frotteurism, unless it's to acknowledge that it constitutes sexual harassment, is a crime, should be reported immediately if it happens to you, and you are a sex offender if you're making it happen to someone else.

Someone’s going to need to explain to me in words of 1 syllable why it’s necessary or good

Interesting. Could he be Etty’s son ?

OrchidInTheSun · 30/09/2019 13:39

This is about Jonny from the DM: "After he visited Holland in 2012, the council bought Spring Fever, a Dutch sex education programme for four to 11-year-olds which provided the blueprint from which he helped develop the All About Me lesson plans."

and this is from Etty's blog:
"In 2011 the Respect Yourself team and 20 frontline workers took a study tour to the Netherlands, where we witnessed the benefits of adopting the evidence based sex positive approach that worked so well in Holland."

So either the DM got the dates slightly wrong and they went together, with Jonny getting the All About Me contract plus contributions to Respect Yourself or Jonny went first (on Warwick's dime natch) and loved it so much that they sent Etty, her team, and 20 other people to go and find out what he did.

I wonder how much all this cost

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 30/09/2019 13:38

Yeah, I mean let’s look at it this way

It may be that he isn’t the sort of person whose driving agenda is to teach 13 year olds about fisting and coprophilia

Maybe he’s just insufficiently qualified to pick up on the massive red flags around people encouraging him to produce materials that do that

Hang on.....that’s not much better is it?

SunsetBeetch · 30/09/2019 13:31

Well. Anyone delivering training to children and young people, especially sex education, should have a background that is transparent and beyond reproach. So I'm even more concerned now.

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 30/09/2019 13:17

I’m just wondering if the reason Jonny came out of nowhere is that he’s benefited from a little light nepotism

It’s always my first thought when a WTF contract is awarded

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 30/09/2019 13:15

He went on a jaunt to Amsterdam with 20 people from the respect yourself programme (including Etty) back in 2012 to learn about teaching ‘sex positive’ SRE

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 30/09/2019 13:14

Jonny hunt was born in 1981

SirVixofVixHall · 30/09/2019 13:12

How old is Jonny Hunt ? Hard to tell from that video.
Also am I right in saying he went to Amsterdam to train in sex ed ?
Amsterdam, where PIE went ?

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 30/09/2019 13:03

dunno if I'm getting too tin foil hat here

scrolling through the directors of the school that Etty was a director of, I came across a chap called Graham John Hunt, born 1961. So would have been 20 when our friend Jonny was born

Is Etty friends with Jonny's dad? Hunt's a fairly common name, so it's only maybe

TruthOnTrial · 30/09/2019 12:19

Yes lesley tregear, age appropriate, and not about whats biologically happening...oh hang on Lesley..vital that children know what their body parts are called..so females is vaginas? Not the proper name for what children mostly actually refer to, which is actually accurately called a vulva.

Children rarely need to discuss their vagina, and mostly not really much involved in it!! Confused

OrchidInTheSun · 30/09/2019 12:15

As for, nothing wrong with porn, no such thing as porn addiction, more research showing that porn damages developing brains: "https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/sep/26/brain-scans-porn-addicts-sexual-tastes"

Etty is a biological woman and can be seen on this video giving advice to parents on how to talk to their children about sex!

SheStoodInTheStorm · 30/09/2019 12:05

@HandsOffMyRights

Brill, thanks.

Currently trying to compose an email that doesn't consist of "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TEACHING OUR CHILDREN?!"

TruthOnTrial · 30/09/2019 11:50

I'm sure if they had qualifications they would be underlined and promoted.

You cannot only have had two high profile jobs, without any previous experience or qualifications.

These are fabrications, and their digital footprint has been very very carefully controlled, controlled.

They also contradict themselves in the previous link, where they point to vulnerable dc seeking answers in internet porn, framed in the sense that this would be a poor way to go, whereas, apparent porn is empowering Confused

Good article Hands

You can start with emailing
[email protected] and CEO: [email protected]

Contact your local media. Write to the school. Tell other parents. If you are on social media raise awareness of this grooming.

Do not tolerate this.

Ereshkigal · 30/09/2019 11:45

How the fuck do they align that with their information claiming a naked woman on her knees being ejaculated on by a number of men is liberating. Or that working in pornography gives girls high self-esteem.

It's pure queer theory. Everyone would be liberated if we all had no boundaries.
