Wet eyes again too. Thanks to Morning Star that have been really on the right side of history on this one and really supportive of gender challenging feminism. Magdalen was so intelligent and an achiever across many areas. She did actually trend on Twitter on Friday 13th which shows how many people cared about her. I have two sets of feelings about her - grateful that she lived and was able to do the activism she did . But really sad that she did not get to do more as she would have gone on to achieve so much in addition

Gosh. Wet eyes after reading that.

Be More Magdalen

I think her family must have an inkling of what she meant to people.

Her videos are fantastic and she obviously was passionate in other areas of her life too.

FadingStar · 21/09/2019 07:36

Fantastic tribute. Magdalen was so special. I will always love her.

coatlessinspokane · 21/09/2019 05:22

I hope her family know how much she meant to the people who followed and admired her.

Coyoacan · 21/09/2019 04:10

What a beautiful tribute. She condensed so much into her short span of years.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 21/09/2019 01:48

For some reason I thought the Morning Star would be fully woke. Interesting.

Magdalene burned bright didn’t she?

Buttonhold · 21/09/2019 01:28

I wish I'd bumped into her in Edinburgh

TerfTalk · 21/09/2019 00:20

A beautiful, respectful, piece. This is what the right side of history looks like.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 20/09/2019 23:38

Morning Star is actual leftists, as opposed to what passes for them in government at the moment.

Gingerkittykat · 20/09/2019 23:34

Nice tribute.

I looked up trangender on the Morning Star and it looks like it is a newspaper with a few gender critical articles.

Treaclebee · 20/09/2019 23:09

Not Family, not a friend in fact never met Magdalen. Only knew her through her vocal you tube posts but have just shed tears over that obituary. Dam it just so unfair. The biggest injustice but no one to rage against or campaign against to make things right...

ChattyLion · 20/09/2019 21:43

That’s a lovely article. What a great woman. Flowers

NeverTwerkNaked · 20/09/2019 21:42

She was truly impressive. What a great loss to the world.

Grimbles · 20/09/2019 21:40

I never met her, so didn’t realise she was tiny. Tiny yet brave

It's interesting to read about Magdalen's achievements outside of the sphere of women's rights. She was so very intelligent, wasn't she?

LloydBraun · 20/09/2019 21:20

It’s just terribly sad and terribly cruel. But a full life, and a useful one.
