I really hope the outcome is fair to women and upholds free speech.

Defence barrister pulling no punches. No wonder they weren’t in court to hear that.

Melroses · 18/09/2019 16:29

Although probably county Court

Should be Magistrates, then Crown for Criminal.

County for civil/family etc.

bettybeans · 18/09/2019 16:24

Today is the criminal case Arran.

bettybeans · 18/09/2019 16:23

Amusing that Harrop thinks he's a star attraction 😆 What a dweeb.

ArranUpsideDown · 18/09/2019 16:23

tbh, I'm uncertain whether today's pleading is about both civil and criminal cases or just one of them.

I wondered if Hayden is the claimant for the civil case and the witness for the criminal prosecution?

Amalfimamma · 18/09/2019 16:19

Although probably county Court.

Amalfimamma · 18/09/2019 16:19

Witness and she is hayden

Will find out which court

happydappy2 · 18/09/2019 16:18

I gather court date set for Jan 20th, anyone know which court? Thanks

Bit confused by her tweets by who is who (or "she")

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 18/09/2019 16:14

Who is the witness?

Amalfimamma · 18/09/2019 16:05

Neither Stephanie Hayden or Adrian Harrop are in court. The witness did however attend court. But appears to have left before the hearing. #katescottow

ArranUpsideDown · 18/09/2019 16:01

Joani Walsh is tweeting about the pleading but it's not a thread:

BreakWindandFire · 18/09/2019 15:55

Just a quick post. Yes, Hayden is claiming that my publicly mis-gendering them has caused damages to the tune of 100,00 pounds.

Damages which, if awarded, would be completely tax free wouldn't they?

happydappy2 · 18/09/2019 15:51

I hadn’t realised, today is not a trial, it is for pleading.

H the complainant wouldn’t miss this for the world. Another thrilling episode of Lady Lawyer: The LARP. I can practically hear the heels clicking.

SarahTancredi · 18/09/2019 14:54

Good luck to the both of you!!

I don’t think he was actually going to bother - just silly tweets commenting on location wasn’t it? Nice and mature for a ‘doctor’.

TerfTalk · 18/09/2019 14:50

So Harrop said he was going, but then hasn’t showed up?

Come on Harrop, we all know you’re watching this thread... what made you change your mind? Smile

Melroses · 18/09/2019 14:46

Ooooo - I thought he was already on his way in his dirty mac (according to those farmers of green fruits who are not working atm).

Amalfimamma · 18/09/2019 14:46

popehilarious

No its just interesting harrop was harping on about being there this morning on Twitter.

ArranUpsideDown · 18/09/2019 14:45

My error - I was mixing up cases, I now realise. Too many Hs!

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 18/09/2019 14:44

Moral support? Agree he’s not necessary...

popehilarious · 18/09/2019 14:43

Harrop is Hayden's friend, I doubt he's necessary for it to proceed

ArranUpsideDown · 18/09/2019 14:42

Interesting that H is a no-show to today's event and I wonder if the court is waiting on an explanation or will re-schedule at great expense to the respondent?

H's case wrt to Louise Moody does offer some more interest. I should say that I have no idea whether H will be offering a GDPR argument it's just one that I've seen over the last year or so.
