Lesbian Erasure Protest shut down my "Trans Lesbians"

I'm at a loss as to what I can actually feasibly do to help?? I bang on about it to friends, relatives and have peak transed many of them... not so much colleagues as I don't fancy being hauled to HR for being a 'bigot' but bar that what else can I do?

Endlessly haranguing lesbians about how bigoted and evil they are for not wanting to touch your penis is not letting them just live, is the issue. If TRAs were willing to let women just live I might be willing to do the same for them, but we all know that's not what's happening.

A 'trans lesbian' though mystical and wonderful sounding is essentially a heterosexual male.

But the incremental and indeed forceful erosion of the L in LGBT is bizarre. Indeed I don't even understand why the T is there in the first place. It's a mindset, at best an orientation - not a sexuality. I'm sure there's some 'woke' folks who'd love to 'educate' me on the matter but I won't be drawn on this matter. Once we start to redefine the term 'woman' then it ceases to mean anything. Indeed redefining Lesbianism is madness. Heaven help us!

Not being a lesbian I don’t know much about the lesbian magazine world except from what I read on MN; which is that Diva is now a trans magazine.

The signs propped against some random's window for just long enough to take a photo before the random who owns said window notices and tells them to get lost was a particularly convincing touch.

What are Diva doing?

In the Diva article they are making out that the TRA protest crew joined the actual lesbian strength march without being asked.

Oh really? I only saw them yelling abuse at lesbians, not "showing their love".

Oh, was there another lesbian strength march in Leeds last week then? Because the one I was at was a massive success. I mean there were a few sad sacks with signs saying how their cats would hate us, but the majority of people were cheering us on.

The funny thing is, is that on the march members of a branch of the Labour Party and a trade union where having an outdoor meeting and they gave the march a big cheer!

I'm really glad to be corrected here and apologies to people who were there for believing the fake news. It just shows how widespread the bullshit is spread. It was shared by a major political party's women's page.

That article is hilariouly bad. I especially like that picture of the signs in the window. Apparently signs were being displayed in windows all across Leeds but it seems they couldn't actually find one to take a picture of so they had to create their own by sticking a couple of their placards against the window of an office. What utter muppets.

All those photos are taken from very close in, aren’t they? Despite the claim of ‘hundreds lining the route’ I can see maybe 10-12 people at most.

You’ve been suckered by Fake News, OP. Why, there are threads on this very board with actual photo evidence that, not only did the march go ahead, it was a really positive and fun experience for the attendees.
