WTF! How can any University allow a member of their staff to behave like this on a public site?

This is the email of the president of the College of Charleston ( Andrew T. Hsu ) [email protected] Not sure if that is the correct place to address this issue .

I have just emailed him at this address with my distress over the recent social media posts. I have pointed out that I am not a family member or friend of Magdalen but still feel greatly and negatively affected by Dr. McKinnon's activities.

As soon as I read the title of this thread, I knew what it would be about. I have no idea why the university and Twitter are protecting McKinnon. There's no excuse.
As one of the many people that are blocked, I missed the pathetic Friday 13th lie.
Every time I think McK and friends have hit rock bottom, they just keep going. I can't imagine being that disingenuous and lacking in self-awareness.

Which reminds me, the Dr who is 'a Doctor' rather than 'having a philosophy doctorate', thought McK had overstepped the Mark before, I wonder if he'll have anything to say about this? (I'm not holding my breath)

We’ve had this thread tonight - it got zapped for misgendering.

I am always very careful to try to stick to the, often inconsistent, MN rules. They have generally allowed the use of correct pronouns for men who are obviously mendacious in their intent and abusive in their behaviour, such as Jessica Yaniv.

Surely, with such horrible behaviour when people are freshly grieving, there can be no doubt about Rachel Mckinnon's intent? Surely it would be perverse for MN to insist we pretend he is genuinely trying to live as a woman. His sole purpose appears to be hateful and abusive to women.

The problem is that the College of Charleston is enabling this. We have an educational institution that is supporting an individual to post something like this. I am not a family member or friend and I feel upset as a human. The College of Charleston should be held to account for supporting this individual.
