I BREASTfed my boys DS1 til he was 15m and DS2 til he was 3y1m and I fed them with my breasts not my fucking chest! It's not like I whipped my lung out to feed them.

It does sound odd, but it is true that men can breastfeed.
Of course it does not make a man a woman, which is a separate discussion- but men can produce breast milk from their breast tissue (just as they can get breast cancer).
I'm sorry OP that you were thrown out of your bf group for this, however- it sounds like it was badly handled to say the least.

I would only insist that chestfeed be used accurately. So chestfeed for men, breastfeed for women. I would not want to see all feeding via lactating mamaries called chestfeeding.

Chest feeding. 🙄 It’s times like this when I’m actually glad to be pushing 50 and out of the circus. Breastfeeding groups have traditionally been a little on the hardcore side, in my own experience. However it’s all gone into batshit mode. Why are women being swayed by our own undermining?

A breastfeeding site should be there to support. ERM.... Breastfeeding. It should n't even get sidetracked by such idioticness. Chest feeding would be about as pointless as a woman in her sixties checking for the correct feeding position for her reborn doll!! Utterly pointless! In fact, you should set up a fake profile, ask for lots of help and support, whilst posting photos of your new reborn doll (whilst enquiring as to why she still isn't gaining weight!)

I feel for you OP, it can be hard enough establishing breastfeeding without this kind of nonsense. Hope you can find a new group that actually supports mums.
Coming across this would have really cheesed me off, if transmen can’t deal with their biology its not the remit if other women to deny their own. Females have breasts, the primary purpose of which is to lactate to feed their babies End of.
