If a man pees against a wall in public he can get a (I think!) public order offence slapped on him, but he does it against a piece of molded plastic in public and that’s fine.

Wow! So men can now legally wave their dicks about in the street and when anyone says a man exposed himself to her/a child he can just say he was using the urinal. Great.

Eurgh - this makes me think of dogs cocking a leg and pissing in the street.
For goodness sake why not just build more public loos and maintain decency. Men can hold on until a loo is available, if they choose not to use CCTV to id and trace them . The answer isn’t to pander to dirty habits and make outdoor urinals for the lazy gits. I don’t want to walk down a street to the sound and smells of someone having a wee. What strange times we live in 😷

In Amsterdam they have these things, like you walk into it but it is still open.

And who would do this. I wouldn't even use the Amsterdam ones unless I desperately needed to, I was drunk, and it was dark...

I love the comments about how it's wrong to video this & post online, when the man concerned seemed quite happy to piss in public. Didn't seem overly concerned about his privacy if you ask me.

I’ve had the misfortune to encounter these in Amsterdam. You can smell them before you see them.

More proper public toilets (for men and women) would be a better solution.

They are just open urinals - where exactly do you think the sink would be?

I can only assume it is some fool's solution to the problem of men peeing in doorways at night. Instead of building proper public toilets they came up with this cheap hideous solution.

I just very much dislike being forced to watch men pee. If anyone can tell me who I need to write a letter to, I’ll do that instead, but I’ve had wine and CBA to do my own grunt work right now!

Used to have these in Piccadilly in Manchester but they didn't last long. I think they're awful, wee would leak out. Quite common in Europe though .
