I don't know if I've posted this properly but I'm with the woman on the video.'I disapprove,I don't like it'.

m peeing, but you ain’t seeing

Nice...dead classy...i like it, i might get one myself, keep em guessing

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/08/2019 22:43

I’ve never used a shewee. Does it involve pulling your trousers and pants down? Unzipping/unbuttoning? I certainly wouldn’t feel safe doing that out in the street.

Maybe men who can’t hold it until they can get to a public toilet should get themselves those bags with a tube that straps to their legs. If they really must let the world know their penis is functioning they can wear a sticker that says “I’m peeing, but you ain’t seeing”

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 31/08/2019 22:28

He?

MoggyP · 31/08/2019 22:22

'Did you even read the previous post by @womaninthedark ?'

Yes, I just see the world differently. I wonder if /he read mine?

LittleLongDog · 31/08/2019 22:12

@Rufusthebewilderedreindeer 😂

MitziK · 31/08/2019 22:03

Why do men have zero ability to hold onto their piss until they can find a proper toilet?

We should be telling boys about pelvic floor exercises in PSHEE classes, as they obviously haven't learned to use the muscles they have been given.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 31/08/2019 21:57

I’m gonna get someone explaining exactly what they do with their she wee aren’t i 😳

I’m really not feeling up to that

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 31/08/2019 21:56

They dint think do they

What am I supposed to do with the pissy funnel without a sodding sink!!

LittleLongDog · 31/08/2019 21:54

Another interesting article from France: protesters vandalised open urinals. www.theguardian.com/world/2018/aug/29/protesters-damage-sexist-open-air-urinals-in-paris

And a quote from it for @MoggyP
In recent days, some male commentators suggested women should simply use the open-air urinals standing up with the aid of a funnel. Blache dismissed this. “If a woman did that, it would be seen as a provocation and certainly not as the simple need to publicly relieve yourself after drinking too much beer, as it is seen for men.”

LittleLongDog · 31/08/2019 21:47

Or you could get a SheWee and use the open air urinals too?

@MoggyP you know this would be viewed by some with some perverted joy that we were ‘titilating’ them?

Did you even read the previous post by @womaninthedark ?

picklemepopcorn · 31/08/2019 21:47

Presumably the screens are missing to stop people behaving even worse, out of sight.

I could tolerate this if
It led to there being more female toilets (as men would need fewer)
There was an elementary screen
They didn't smell.

zebrasdontwearbras · 31/08/2019 21:36

Gross. Quite apart from everything else they are an absolute eyesore. And the smell?? Why the hell does everyone else have to be subjected to men urinating in public?

MoggyP · 31/08/2019 21:33

Or you could get a SheWee and use the open air urinals too?

TwatCat · 31/08/2019 21:30

If I have to hold my bladder whilst waiting to find a proper public toilet, then so can men! Why do men think they can just piss wherever they want, whenever they want. HOLD IT FOR 10 MINUTES LIKE THE OTHER HALF OF HUMANITY!

WatchoutfortheROUS · 31/08/2019 21:26

*passed

Urgh though, grim

LittleLongDog · 31/08/2019 21:26

Speaking to Reuters, Coipeault said they centre on the proposition that “men cannot control themselves…and so all of society has to adapt”.

This quote from the article posted upthread sums it up well.

WatchoutfortheROUS · 31/08/2019 21:25

Past one of these by Soho Square yesterday with my DC. It stank and I thought it was disgusting. Why the hell can't men wait for an actual toilet, are they bloody incontinent toddlers or something?

womaninthedark · 31/08/2019 21:18

I just very much dislike being forced to watch men pee

It's just another degradation that women have to put up with. How long before the principle of equitable provision comes along - "Oh, men pee in the street, why not women also? Squat over the grid, bitches, let the man with the smart phone film you!"

Feeling a little embittered tonight.

Leapyearlover · 31/08/2019 21:12

I don't think the French are bothered about accidentally seeing willies. I went into a french toilet today - separate male and female cubicles with a communal basin....and urinal.

Leapyearlover · 31/08/2019 21:08

There is one near a traffic light near my home in Italy. Once I was on the bus going home and the bus driver got out at the red light, apologised and dashed off for a wee. Confused

Sarcelle · 31/08/2019 21:05

There is a urinal near a taxi rank in Horseferry Road, Westminster. The difference is they are shielded from public view. Not sure why these examples can't also have a shield around them.

SleepyKat · 31/08/2019 21:04

But if a bloke pissed against a wall the police would and do ticket blokes for this, and I’m fairly sure one of the charges is having your knob out in public. So what’s the difference?

How long before some pervy flasher just stands back a bit more than he needs to, is a bit slow putting it away after he’s done and turns round with it still all out....getting a kick out of flashing his knob. And of course he won’t get in any trouble!

And yuck to the lack of sinks!

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/08/2019 20:58

Is there a reason why these urinals can’t have screens around them?

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 31/08/2019 20:57

Agree GC

GCAcademic · 31/08/2019 20:55

We are going back to a time when public conveniences were only available for men. It feels like we are going to have to fight for everything all over again. Public space is male space.
