Louis Theroux gets my vote as the man for the documentary job. I think he could do a great job on showing the difficulties with the extreme trans narrative as he has done with extreme ideologies of the past.

I think the recent videos of him and his mum attacking reporters on 2 occasions and all the pervy tweets plus the illegal weapons he had removed by the police have finally forced the authorities to act.

On the video where he RUNS after his walker there was a tweet from someone claiming to have reported him to the Canadian equivalent of the DWP for fraudulently claiming disability services.

There is a common refrain that TW (a broad category which includes Danielle as well as Blaire) are at high risk of assault or even murder in male spaces.

But such crimes, which everyone condemns, mostly seem to occur on the street, in private homes or in hotels - and not in male spaces.

Whereas many women have been assaulted and even killed in female spaces, by males who wrongfully access them for predatory purposes. I would look twice at Blaire but some TW still look like men (eg the guy with the sword).

A female-only space proves only a thin line of defence - the chance for someone to question them before anything happens (I say this as a GNC woman who has been questioned myself).

But a thin line of defence is better than none.

Eh? Documentary-makers just want to capture a sense of the person/issue as they really are. That process wouldn’t require anyone to get an agent. Nor for them to go totally silent on social media..

I've been reading more into the self ID thing this evening. It's an absolutely ridiculous concept and JY needs holding up as the prime example against it.

The problem is that some/most AGPs in particular do not want third spaces.

Being trans or having a trans partner does not make you unwelcome on here. It's people who completely disrespect of women, women's issues, spaces, needs etc who are unwelcome.

@HeyMonkey, an earlier JY thread (about the court cases I thknk) explains it but in short, yes. You can also buy little frozen things to put up there, when they melt they look like blood and therefore simulates a period. Then you can go through the whole act of "needing" a tampon.

Ginger - I'm not sure why you have suddenly began attacking me with the are you real stuff. I think.you have massively misunderstood my post. A big part of the toilet argument is that women who want women only spaces are excluding and enabling the abuse and attacks on other victims of predatory men.

I am saying it's a way to make women sound as though they would throw some youngster who's being harrassed back out into the street with their attacker, on the basis of the womens sign, rather than help that person get the correct help (ie ring the police for them).

It is making women responsible for the actions of predatory men instead of dealing with the predatory men causing people to want their own spaces. And it's easier to blame women and paint it as though its ONLY women causing this exclusion when in fact it's usually women trans or gay victims are going to seek out in public for help and I've yet to meet a single woman who's knocked one back and not at least tried to help by calling a relative or the police etc.
