Note - this is just the first woman he’s freaked out at BAH. Do they post each time he scares women in a female space?

If you want to be seen as a woman, RESPECT women. Don’t don’t use their spaces before you even start transitioning (!!).

Women and children are only very rarely sexually assaulted or killed by men they don’t know. But public bathrooms are one of the higher-risk spaces for it to happen, of course women are cautious!

Person looks like a scary dude in a dress.

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 09/08/2019 02:03

The thing is, it all sounds so implausible. Things like 'erasure of lesbians', 'lady penis', 'cotton ceiling', 'young lesbians pressured into having sex with men at the risk of being called Terfs'... it's all just mental frankly.

Honestly, when I first starting hearing about these things I thought you lot had lost your marbles. But now the more I learn, the more terrified I am. At some point every single day I remember what's going on and can't believe it. It's like I'm learning about it all for the first time.

I am scared of trying to educate people about what's going on, because I don't think they'd believe me Sad.

Gingerkittykat · 09/08/2019 01:56

What country is that person posting from?

There's pretty tough penalties for carrying knives in public in the UK.

AnotherAdultHumanFemale · 09/08/2019 01:54

Could you have a discussion with your aunty about it, do you think she would understand the issues? It's worth a try. I think it's best not to try to talk to people about stuff like this on facebook though because it can get ugly fast as people jump to conclusions. You might even find your drag queen friends are not in favour of self ID. Quite a lot of gay men (and I think one drag queen comedian) have shared gender critical views on this topic. They don't all believe it.

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 09/08/2019 01:41

@AnotherAdultHumanFemale I always feel that I have to make that distinction when talking about this issue.

I have several drag queen friends on Facebook, who are old friends of the family. I also have many gay friends on Facebook. I so want to share some of Posie Parker's posts, but they just wouldn't understand. My aunty is gay (she's in her seventies) and she posted support for trans people around the time of the last Pride march. I really wanted to say, "Aunty, they hate people like you. Please educate yourself about these people."

Is anyone else in this position? How do you handle it?

AnotherAdultHumanFemale · 09/08/2019 01:40

Thanks OccasionalKite I did read most of that and agree it is encouraging.

What I find concerning is, many places seem to be turning women's toilets into 'unisex' or gender neutral or whatever they want to call it already? I don't see how this is legal, since women currently have the right to single sex toilets? All it seems to take is a couple of activists to convince the management their toilets are bad and wrong and they scrap the women's toilets. It doesn't make any sense.

AnotherAdultHumanFemale · 09/08/2019 01:35

Yes, I don't mean old school transexuals, who have quietly gone about their lives for years. They don't brandish weapons in toilets and threaten women.

2BthatUnnoticed · 09/08/2019 01:34

Please read this... which represents the more “reasonable” end of the TW spectrum Shock

They have no idea of the lived reality of women. None.

Threatening, disturbed, misogynistic, power hungry men in dresses being in the toilet.

Exactly. They are a different breed from 'trannys' from back in the day, who I personally would have had no problem sharing facilities with.

OccasionalKite · 09/08/2019 01:23

AnotherAdultHumanFemale,
I hear what you're saying.

This evening, I was very encouraged by reading this thread, and perhaps you could give it a go:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3660459-Last-week-the-Women-and-Equalities-Select-Committee-recommended-EHRC-write-a-new-Code-of-Practice-covering-single-sex-exemptions-This-article-sets-out-exactly-what-needs-to-be-considered

Yes, the title is long!

AnotherAdultHumanFemale · 09/08/2019 01:16

Also, what about say, a young woman travelling alone at night. There's a creepy guy on the platform so she goes into the women's toilets to get away from him whilst waiting for her train. For decades this has been what women have done to keep themselves safe and it's worked because men were banned from our toilets.

Self ID allows that creepy man to follow her in, and if she complains to a member of staff (if she's lucky enough to find one) then she's the one in the wrong. How dare she put her own gut feeling and safety before the stunning and brave 6 foot man's gender identity!

The world really has turned upside down.

AnotherAdultHumanFemale · 09/08/2019 01:11

This is one of the biggest issues for me. Threatening, disturbed, misogynistic, power hungry men in dresses being in the toilet. It makes me really anxious the thought of encountering someone like this in a public toilet, because what can you do? If you leave and complain, you could be reported. And you will also have nowhere to urinate unless there is a separate disabled toilet, so what then? (This is also unfair on disabled people. I have a feeling if self ID comes in their toilets will have queues for them as women avoid the women's toilets for exactly this reason).

I don't get people who say the bathroom issue is minor. I see it as one of the biggest issues in this whole debate, because it is about dignity for women as well as safety. I still wake up every day and cannot get my head around how anyone support letting men into women's toilets.

Also, notice this person's antifa references in their profile. I have been thinking for a while that antifa and TRAs are interconnected since their tactics of aggression, silencing, no debate, bullying, threats, bandana face hiding whilst intimidating people and violence are the same.

OccasionalKite · 09/08/2019 01:08

However way you look at it, the guy in the OP, carrying a sword in public, is dangerous to society

NoShitHemlock · 09/08/2019 00:56

Tbh when I saw that pic earlier I thought the poor bugger had a walking stick. I mean, why else would you wear those trainers with that dress?!

I think I am going to invest in one of these (I mean its pink, it must be for women, right?)

Also I properly laughed at PP above:

@Trohmaniac

Fuck me, he's let himself go since he was in The Princess Bride, hasn't he?

OccasionalKite · 09/08/2019 00:54

Has this person, with a sword, in the ladies, done a mass murder yet? I feel that it is only a matter of time. I do not mean this lightly.

ErrolTheDragon · 09/08/2019 00:52

Apparently just works on the same floor as the company he mentioned. Whatever.

MagneticSingularity · 09/08/2019 00:46

Yeah, so apparently male person? With a sword? In the women’s loos? Absolutely no cause for alarm there at all though because they were wearing a dress. I mean come on! What’s a lay-dee gotta do to get some acceptance and validation around here?

I’m past trying to rationalize any of this shit any more, it’s like a fucking fever dream I can’t wake up from.

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 09/08/2019 00:41

He dressed like THAT at Booz Allen??? Jeez. They used to have a dress code. Not literally a 'dress' code.

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 09/08/2019 00:40

@OccasionalKite Yup. Women. With penises.

ErrolTheDragon · 09/08/2019 00:39

Oh, but the sword has a pink end so that's ok.

Hmm Booz Allen is some sort of management consultancy, so I assume he (I'm assuming his pronouns on April 6th are still correct) 'freaked out' a colleague or a client and is now bragging about it on the net ... grossly unprofessional.
OccasionalKite · 09/08/2019 00:38

And these arseholes are meant to be women, are they?

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 09/08/2019 00:35

TRAs are pretty much a hate group now, by any definition.

Just felt that needed highlighting.

Trohmaniac · 09/08/2019 00:31

Reading through the replies though, they're getting ratio'd to shit. The TRA replies (with predictable threats of violence and 'you're blocked') are getting handfuls of likes while the ones calling the OP out are getting into the hundreds.

Interesting too how many of the supporters have anime icons.

AlwaysComingHome · 09/08/2019 00:30

We’ve also had Yaniv openly carrying pepper spray and a taser.

They say it’s for self defence but you don’t see them taking weapons into the gents do you? They take weapons into situations their greater strength already gives them an advantage.

OP posts:
AlwaysComingHome · 09/08/2019 00:26

Lot of their supporters on Twitter now posting pics of their own (mainly pink handled) knives they admit they took to Pride.

TRAs are pretty much a hate group now, by any definition.

There are almost certainly going to be fatalities if this continues.
