Just to say I'm not aware of any crimes committed by A.C.. They appear to have appalling judgement on all sorts of things, doubtless held back by what seems likely to have been the kind of upbringing you have nightmares about, but I don't think this person is a criminal.

Altering a birth cert like this is not funny. A.C. is doing the world a favour by showing the reality of the law. Something about seeing this brings it home.

What has pissed me off is that I have had to get permission from the General Registrar of England to reregister my son as a child of our marriage at the same register office that Aimee Challenor went to, because my DH died before he could sign the forms, yet Aimee Challenor can receive a fictitious one. It's taken nearly 3 months for them to sort us out.

Never forget how the GRA legislation was brought in on the quiet - remember the TRAs Stephen Whittle et al "and we managed to get through without anyone throwing a fit in the press."

Which rather suggests that they knew the press would throw a fit and/or that there was something to 'throw a fit' about. And we can see why now.

Info here on how people with convictions who then obtain a grc have asked for their records to be changed so crimes are not 'gender specific'.

The example is to do with prostitution, but the only other crime that really comes to mind that would 'disclose gender' is 'rape', which of course requires a penis.

I don’t think it’s right that this document is falsified. If the GRA is to stand, I think a GRC should be a separate document which can be shown alongside your birth certificate, stating the date on which you officially gained the right to be seen as the opposite sex for most purposes.
