Great article.

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 28/07/2019 12:07

Didn't the Veritas report acknowledge that Challoner also didn't understand safeguarding? Even when explained.

Yes, and even then Stonewall saw no reason to remove Challenor. Despite Stonewall presumably using their trans advisory panel to draw up guidelines for schools, Girl Guides and other organisations.

Stonewall have proven themselves utterly unfit to be having any influence over policy regarding children and young people.

If Challenor has gone I'm very glad of it, but it does not even begin to address the underlying issues.

Popchyk · 28/07/2019 11:59

I will bet that Stinson and Challenor both received some cash in return for signing a non-disclosure agreement.

This will prevent them from saying anything negative about Stonewall.

deepwatersolo · 28/07/2019 11:53

Great article.

Datun · 28/07/2019 11:43

That Challenor wasn't removed instantly means Stonewall have no concept of appropriate safeguarding.

Didn't the Veritas report acknowledge that Challoner also didn't understand safeguarding? Even when explained.

Stonewall are in no position to advise anyone about anything.

Alex Drummond reckons they bring out women's inner lesbian. Sarah Brown recommends people suck their 'formaldehyde pickled balls.'

And Challoner dates a paedophile.

Bunch of absolute weirdos.

Popchyk · 28/07/2019 11:41

Arnold, says on that thread further down that Challenor's linkedin states that Challenor worked with Stonewall until July 2019. So looks like those ties have been severed.

Seems to be a time of change at Stonewall.

Ruth Hunt, Chief Exec, leaving next month.

Bex Stinson, former head of trans inclusion, gone very recently. Doesn't look like it was Stinson's choice to go.

Stinson now claiming to be a campaigning content creator on youtube. Which seems to be Stinson talking about trans issues. Presumably Stinson will be looking to nab funding from Stonewall, Mermaids etc.

Challenor now gone.

Sarah Brown next please.

GallopingGreen · 28/07/2019 11:40

Agreed with Arnold ^^
Thanks Glinner. The more straight talking articles we have like this the better. You need to start writing for the national daily papers!!

AutumnCrow · 28/07/2019 11:39

Ditto Jo Swinson and her Lib Dem advisors. Bunch of stubborn unlistening fools.

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 28/07/2019 11:36

Hmmm.

Challenor's name has been removed from the list of advisory group members but as one of the Twitter posters points out some members of the advisory group choose to be anonymous. So Challenor might still be there.

Even if Stonewall were to confirm Challenor not being on the advisory group anymore I still don't trust any organisation that allowed Challenor such a position months and months after the facts of their background and behaviour became public knowledge. That Challenor wasn't removed instantly means Stonewall have no concept of appropriate safeguarding.

Popchyk · 28/07/2019 11:21

Looks like Challenor and Stonewall have parted company within the last couple of days.

twitter.com/Glinner/status/1155160495239958529

No longer on the Trans Advisory Group.

GColdtimer · 26/07/2019 00:04

Could you share any other "why stonewall should not be allowed near schools" wisdom please.

AutumnCrow · 25/07/2019 23:40

👍

TerfTalk · 25/07/2019 23:12

Was 5his thread taken down for a few hours? I couldn't find it for ages?

Toseland · 25/07/2019 23:10

Thank you, that was very interesting.

2BthatUnnoticed · 25/07/2019 22:29

Good piece - thanks Graham

ExpletiveDelighted · 25/07/2019 18:38

Great article!

HandsOffMyRights · 25/07/2019 18:21

Thanks Graham.

My child's school is a Stonewall Champion School and as if that isn't alarming enough, just knowing that Challenor is on the advisory board, is deeply disturbing. When I relayed this to the headteacher he was dismissive of any media coverage.

So please keep shining the light on this.

Some men get off on the perversion that we have no control over who is going into our children's schools. That we're alarmed. That children are vulnerable. That seemingly anybody can have unfettered access to minors.

Somebody wrote on here a couple of days ago that if we compiled a list of people we don't want going into schools and why (from a safeguarding perspective) then it would include all those characters who currently seem to be welcomed with open arms.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 25/07/2019 18:16

That is a very good article. It would be interesting to see how many schools will have paid Stonewall for training for the new term in September?

It's worth remembering the current NSPCC fiasco where the NSPCC sent Carl Beech (convicted paedophile and fantasist) into numerous primary schools to talk to primary children about sexual abuse.

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 25/07/2019 17:57

Great article.

We need people to WAKE UP.

DirtyDeeds · 25/07/2019 17:48

J’adore, @Glinner Star

MockerstheFeManist · 25/07/2019 17:46

Please don't tell me those deletions are due to misgendering!

More a failure of misgonading.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 25/07/2019 17:40

I read the thread earlier and didn't notice any posts that even skated on thin ice. What were the deletions for?

SmallHaddockAndChips · 25/07/2019 17:36

Please don't tell me those deletions are due to misgendering!

zen1 · 25/07/2019 17:33

Good article. It’s amazing how many people still haven’t a clue that all this is going on.

FormerMediocreMale · 25/07/2019 17:18

That JY could be a girl guide leader and go on residential trips is frightening.

People need to wake up and see what is happening.
