Ok so I read that blog on my lunch break and commented, in detail, about why he was wrong. I was very articulate and used no offensive terms.

Sadly, my comment was not accepted yet others supporting him have been since I submitted my comment.

This is the problem with the whole debate. It's not one.

They understand the power of definition and expression, and try to destroy and twist language to their own aims.

Like TRAs tirelessly try to do ,every single fucking day pissing over the definition of woman, breast feeding,periods etc.

They are trying to erase women. To make women and their rights and protection obsolete, and any protest against that is transphobic.

Well quite, Aspley. Cis is the result of a tortured function that tries to find a category for everyone but yourself - but only in reference to yourself.

And even if one doesn't disagree with the word cis in principle, in practice it will apply to hardly anyone.

I find cis offensive as quite honestly I am not cis. My friend put me at an 8 on the Mermaids gender scale - how on earth then can cis be accurate for me?
No lesbian can possibly be cis, even if they are femme, the very fact they are homosexual means they are not fitting in with the expectations of their sex.
It is a daft term and is offensive simply because it is so often used incorrectly.

Why does it always come down to existence? They exist. Of course they do. I don't care if they exist. Everyone is free to live their own life imo.

When it comes down to rights, women's rights (for females) do matter and we will defend them.

I've never been gender conforming. I've been misgendered (and not cared). I don't care how people dress. It doesn't matter what they say, I am not transphobic.

Jay should spend some time on MN and realise A, there's a lot more discussed here than feminism and B, we make some very good points.

There is no debate as transactivism is fighting a battle for something impossible, to whit the right to literally be the opposite sex, even though in that redefinition, the opposite sex will cease to exist as a separate entity.
