That have absolutely nothing to do with one another but I'm just putting them here, for later.

The mayor has said he is delaying the start of the toilet trial following feedback

FWRLurker · 15/07/2019 19:25

Quoting said councilor from a previous article:

“"I understand, clearly, there will be some concerns from some councillors and members of the public but the risk does not increase once public toilets become gender neutral.

In fact, if anyone has any intention in committing a crime at present, they will do so.”

Huh! So they will, won’t they!

ixqik · 15/07/2019 19:22

Disabled toilets are scheduled to be the first to go gender neutral in the proposed Middlesbrough trial.

Disabled people have the highest rates of sex assaults.

TowelNumber42 · 15/07/2019 19:16

Me too Juells

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/07/2019 18:48

Me too. #dodgyblokeradarstillworkingthanksmum

Juells · 15/07/2019 18:38

Holy shit. When we had an earlier thread about the gender neutral toilets proposal, with a link to a newspaper article with a photo of him, I found it so difficult to find a way to phrase what I thought of how he looked, without being banned.

Certain photos you look at, and they scream danger.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/07/2019 18:29

They just look so... unhealthy. Maybe too much computer time and not enough fresh fruit, day light, fresh air and exercise.

OvaHere · 15/07/2019 18:28

I'm staggered by his mullet
Grin

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/07/2019 18:15

They do. Just the ones with testicles.

KatvonHostileExtremist · 15/07/2019 18:14

I'm staggered by his mullet
I'm staggered by his age
I'm staggered there's a Tory in middlesborough

Less staggered by the other "coincidence"

When are people going to listen to women on this?

StopThePlanet · 15/07/2019 18:12

That dude looks creepy as fuck - mayhaps his proclivities have aged him prematurely. He looks like a 60+ yr old creepy man. Whatever he has or hasn't done
Mr. Hijackwomenspaces is unintentionally helping our cause.

I just hope that his accusers are okay and getting all help they may need.

Considering his perspective on the less fortunate in society it was easy to see he was a complete shitbag even before these allegations came to light.

ZebrasAreBras · 15/07/2019 18:07

I know, I'm still just staggered by this news. It's just so unbelievable isn't it?

Wtaf? And that must’ve been a bloody tough paper round or does he self ID as 30?

It’s like the case in Scotland (will dig out). Anyone who is convicted should have any recommendations or activities very very closely inspected.

JoyceJeffries · 15/07/2019 17:57

What a bizarre coincidence. This in no way could have been predicted (by anyone with an IQ lower than a pencil case)

Binglebong · 15/07/2019 17:53

Fucking hell.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 15/07/2019 17:47
Shock Ain't that remarkable.
corlan · 15/07/2019 17:37

Well I never! What an amazing coincidence! Who would have thought it!

Hellmistress · 15/07/2019 17:36

It all goes to show that we GC women don't really need to do that much. The TRAs will do our work for us eventually

KatvonHostileExtremist · 15/07/2019 17:30

Well that "co-incidence" is really really disturbing

I bizarrely thought nothing could shock me anymore - wrong

RosaWaiting · 15/07/2019 17:18

platter naive until proven stupid
😂 may I borrow that? Brilliant.

plattercake · 15/07/2019 17:16

This should definitely not be sinking into the MN ether Baguette, you were so right to post. The other thread keeps it all together but it easy to miss it.

Innocent until proven guilty, yes. But is the mayor going for the innocent (naive) until proven stupid approach?

Baguetteaboutit · 15/07/2019 16:51

I just barrelled in on the board without checking there might be a better place for it, sorry Blush. It looks like the charges have been mentioned on that thread now, so this on can just sink into the MN ether.

Manderleyagain · 15/07/2019 16:47

It might be worth linking from the other thread on teesside loos.
That statement by the mayor is a bit abrupt.

Baguetteaboutit · 15/07/2019 16:41

I'll move it over if anything comes of the court case. It doesn't seem fair while the presumption is that he is innocent. I just wanted to document the two somewhere, in case it is significant.
