See their Instagram page. They're putting up guest posts from someone with the handle 'girl brain boy body'. They also have training talks for staff by the same person with the same title. Such regressive sexist BS.

To be fair it's to do with different zones and where any fire is. There's something similar where I work, just less sexist!

My precious third born dies in a fire at Bristol im gonna raze that place to the ground

(May be a bit over invested...ds2 is 16)

There shouldn’t be a serious one and a not serious one

Its a fucking fire!!!

I may need to go away and calm down Grin

Reallybadidea · 14/07/2019 13:43

Get a grip????

Are they completely fucking stupid

Even if we forget about the inherent sexism

Its a fucking health and safety issue

AlessandraAsteriti · 14/07/2019 13:23

What if it is a non-binary voice?

FannyCann · 14/07/2019 13:15

What if it's the male voiced person's day off on the day they have a fire Really?

Makes me want to go over there and set off fire alarms randomly to put it to the test. Grin

Reallybadidea · 14/07/2019 13:14

Yup. It was truly shocking. I made a comment in the feedback form for that session and was basically told to get a grip.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 14/07/2019 13:11

You’re kidding really

That’s seriously what they say?

Fucking ridiculous...thats Bristol off potential universities for my youngest

Bagger288 · 14/07/2019 13:11

Why doesn't that surprise me? I'm a student there currently. During the 'housekeeping' part of my first week of lectures, we were told that if there was a fire alarm with a female voice giving instructions, then we could just ignore it. If there was an alarm with a male voice then we needed to pay attention because it wasn't a drill. I was Shock
