It's part of the lie that transwomen's issues are women's issues in the same way black women's issues are women's issues and lesbian women's issues are women's issues, etc. Hence the reference to intersectional feminism

Of course, intersectional feminism that includes transwomen could easily come to the conclusion that transwomen are highly privileged in the spectrum of women, but I don't think that's the version Bergdorf wants people to consider.
