Just heard this on the radio. Shocked at how brazen this man was. But hey its all good, women are just hysterical bigots for being wary of males.

Murderers may have a compulsion to kill - we lock them up to keep society safe. We should lock up compulsive sex offenders too. And no flashers don’t all have clear focus to avoid getting caught (assaulting children when parents aren’t around like in changing rooms or toilets??); the risk of getting caught is part of the thrill.

upthine · 06/07/2019 07:04

... Wait, are we genuinely supposed to feel sorry for flashers now as well in our brave new woke world order?

FloralBunting · 06/07/2019 06:43

What exactly is 'compulsively' getting your cock out in public spaces and even taking pictures of it to put on the internet if it isn't flashing?

And I can't tell you how chastened I now feel at my terrible moral indignation at the pervy bloke who showed his penis to a child. What I thinking to be more concerned by the distress of the child than the poor, beleaguered pervert?

Goosefoot · 06/07/2019 01:45

I don't think Jess Bradley is a flasher.

I can only think that you've never suffered any kind of compulsive disorder because if you did you would know that people with those problems often have a clear focus and make significant efforts to avoid getting caught.

Or we can just assume kleptomaniacs have no respect for property, binge eaters are gluttons, and they are all devoid of self-control.

I am fairly skeptical in general, but moral indignation isn't a particularly convincing argument against categorisation of a particular medical diagnosis.

NotBadConsidering · 06/07/2019 00:59

5 year old sees man’s penis in supermarket. Child/parents complain. Police called. NSPCC would condemn.

5 year old sees man’s penis in toilets. Child/parents complain. Child/parents labelled transphobic bigots/TERFs. NSPCC unlikely to say anything. Scottish MP wears t-shirt saying “you can pee next to me”.

ALittleBitofVitriol · 06/07/2019 00:20

Come on goose, are you implying that we should feel compassion for the poor males who just have to publicly expose their sexual organ to women and children?

Funny how their compulsion doesn't force them to flash other grown men. Wonder why?

thebluearsefly · 06/07/2019 00:18

siring Outing themselves straight out with the “no debate” bullshit.

What is your lot say? “Begone... TRA”

Enjoy dying on peadophile hill

FloralBunting · 06/07/2019 00:02

Really, Goosefoot? Which group is Jess Bradley in then?

Goosefoot · 05/07/2019 23:46

If there were actual consequences for this type of behaviour I'm sure they'd manage to control themselves.

I am not sure this is actually true. My understanding of flashers is that they don't usually have a fetish, generally speaking it's a sort of obsessive compulsive disorder, or like kleptomania, and a lot of them are quite ashamed of it.

It's still a good reason to argue for separate spaces, but I am not convinced that the men who are arguing that they should be allowed into women's spaces are from this group, even the ones with outright ulterior motives.

failingatlife · 05/07/2019 23:37

By all good I meant the erosion of WAG boundaries. If its OK for penises to be on show in a female only space then why not in more public places? It's only a penis? Hmm

As for siring coming on here berating us for doing feminism wrong. Same old, same old.

spitefulbreasts well put.

DpWm · 05/07/2019 21:49

Just follow the first 8 posts and read all of the the words Roses including the OP.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 05/07/2019 21:44

I don't think you made a mistake siring1, i do find it a bit weird that when asked to clarify who you are arguing with, because your question didn't have any related to the OP and your answer was a poster who posted a question in response to you a bit weird.

I'm unsure how feminists are to blame, I'm assuming you are not one, neither am I?

avalanching · 05/07/2019 21:41

"Ffs. If there were actual consequences for this type of behaviour I'm sure they'd manage to control themselves. But hey why should women and kids matter?"

To be fair it is not just women and children, my husband would be pretty distraught if someone did that to him, although doesn't compare to a child obviously.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 05/07/2019 21:37

CaptainKirks the bit quoted above bit wasn't you - it was dpm. With Sirings name next to it. So it was addressed to her.

Sorry i said the same thing in my post.

nauticant · 05/07/2019 21:33

You were arguing before bird posted.

Hahahaha! In such a hurry to tell off the women they didn't even pay attention to what they were complaining about. How fucking rubbish is that?

RosesAndRaindrops · 05/07/2019 21:32

siring1
But hey its all good

CaptainKirks the bit quoted above bit wasn't you - it was dpm. With Sirings name next to it. So it was addressed to her.
Siring never said it was all good so when you put that next to the name it looks like she said it was.

RosesAndRaindrops · 05/07/2019 21:27

What's wrong?

My opinion in that post?

Well reading back, even I can see that @Siring1 will have been referring to the two questions that said everyone's entitled to their fetish right, right?
Siring said wrong, wrong.

siring1 · 05/07/2019 21:26

The OP said this.
I asked who thinks it was a good thing and I was told the NSPCC think men getting their cocks out in front of children was a good thing.

My mistakes:

I disagreed with a feminist.
I thought when somebody said something that was what they ment.

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 05/07/2019 21:22

Where on earth did siring1 say that

I said that siring did not.

What made you think that post was connected to siring?

RosesAndRaindrops · 05/07/2019 21:20

siring1
But hey its all good

Where on earth did siring1 say that Confused

SpitefulBreasts · 05/07/2019 21:02

@siring1
As a full time lurker and name changer, I'll tell you a few things. Anyone who rocks up on FWR and tells the mostly Female posters that they're womaning wrong will always get a hard time.
This is about protecting children.
Many of the Women that post here have been through incredibly hard times at the hands of men that have abused them.
Many of them are Lesbian in their sexual orientation and have suffered humiliation and degradation for being Lesbian.
Many of them are just so fucking pissed off with the current climate of the juggernaut that is destroying Women's rights.
Many of them are also fucking pissed off of a lifetime of being regarded as second class citizens.
Also on this particular thread.
Fucking hundreds of them are really absolutely fucking pissed off at the total lack of care and concern shown by the NSPCC.
So get on your bike and off you fucking pop.

BickerinBrattle · 05/07/2019 20:49

Or familiar with the concept of the female penis, the exposure of which is not a problem in female spaces where girls are also changing because it’s, you know, female.

Ask Girl Guides, they’ll explain it to you. I believe that in deciding the female penis posed no problems for females, they consulted the NSPCC along with others.

titchy · 05/07/2019 20:29

I'm arguing with Birds suggedtion that the NSPCC think this incident is a good thing.

Are you familiar with the NSPCC incident others have alluded to?

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 05/07/2019 20:26

If I'm going too fast for you and not breaking this down enough, let me know.
