Oh the irony! Watch the woke folk implode with self-righteous indignation!

Karma?

Everyone's favourite doctor is also being incredibly quiet about this too

AnthonyCrowley · 28/06/2019 20:19

Gosh, Rohit is such a bigot. How dare he say the other person's self identified persona isn't valid.

Just because someone isn't gay does not mean they're not T or Q or +

bettybeans · 28/06/2019 20:16

This is absolute popcorn. Maybe that's what GC women need to do. Just start disingenuously hoovering up all the positions with self ID. Problem is we all know that women would take much more flak than this man will. I don't want to have to win dirty.

TriptychDebbie · 28/06/2019 20:14

Last time I looked he was banging on about Brexit and Boris Johnson

Popchyk · 28/06/2019 20:02

OJ is in a tricky spot.

Normally he'd be straight on to denouncing wrongdoing against a gay man. He was very swift to denounce all those who said that rubberman wanking in the toilets at the NSPCC and uploading it to porn sites is perhaps a safeguarding concern.

But. The perpetrator of this latest wrongdoing is a man. In the Labour party. Which we all know is the bastion of righteousness as far as OJ is concerned.

So what's poor old Owen to do?

Keep quiet and hope it goes away, like all fearless warriors do.

SunsetBeetch · 28/06/2019 19:58

HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAA!!! Grin

TriptychDebbie · 28/06/2019 19:51

I've checked little OJ's timeline and there's nary a mention....

ScrimshawTheSecond · 28/06/2019 19:34

I'm really confused. So the man was straight, okay, fine. But presuming he was one of the other letters in the LGBTIQA+ umbrella, which covers quite a lot of ground, no?

Labour, you've only yourselves to blame.

PencilsInSpace · 28/06/2019 19:11

Does anybody know who actually won the post yet?

MrsBertBibby · 28/06/2019 19:01

That was hardly serious. He was 5th on the list and Labour only ever get 1 seat out of 10 for South East England.

TheBigBallOfOil · 28/06/2019 19:01

I wouldn’t have thought there could ever be a person who I’d want Farage to beat, them labour went and found me one.
Truly, these people have a genius for self destruction.

Redcliff · 28/06/2019 19:01

This has made me laugh - loving the Twitter outrage. I really want him to respond to the those tweets calling him out.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 28/06/2019 18:56

I’m quite enjoying it too. Mwahahahahaha. Ha. Tee hee hee. Guffaw. Snigger. Waaahhhahahahahha. Wipes tear from eye.

placemats · 28/06/2019 18:55

He stood as an MEP against Farage/Brexit Party.

So he was picked to do this. This man, who cannot understand consequences of actions.

Joisanofthedales · 28/06/2019 18:52

I am really enjoying this ha ha ha

Apollo440 · 28/06/2019 18:34

The Twitter thread is hysterical. No equivalence to straight white male becoming a Women's Oficer because TWAW. They are beyond parody.

Redshoeblueshoe · 28/06/2019 18:33

OOOOOOOOOOWweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeNnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Where are you ?

Popchyk · 28/06/2019 18:12

No sympathy either.

And he's hardly the the most brilliant mind in politics if he didn't see that move to oust him coming, via the open barn door of self-ID. The one he'd propped open himself.

From his tweets, he sounds like he was completely blindsided by the coup.

Arrogant and stupid in equal measure.

MrsBertBibby · 28/06/2019 18:10

It's extraordinary that they really can't see it.

Poor sad Rohit. Mind so open his brain fell out.

TriptychDebbie · 28/06/2019 17:52

Much as I'd like to sympathise with Rohit....nah

it is very worrying that someone who was presenting as a heterosexual male got elected to this post.

Is it though? I mean, it might be. But how many homosexual people were eligible to stand? It's a relatively small demographic if you take the traditional meaning, it's possible there may have been only the fellow who is complaining who was willing to do the job. There are all kinds of reasons they may not have wanted him, he sounds like a wanker for one.

aposterhasnoname · 28/06/2019 17:39

"[T]here are publicly and privately expressed concerns that one of the new self-identifying officers has not been sincere about their identification."

But that never happens, no one ever lies about their identity for personal gain, no siree

PancakeAndKeith · 28/06/2019 17:38

While I do admit to enjoying a little schadenfreude it is very worrying that someone who was presenting as a heterosexual male got elected to this post.

Eaudear · 28/06/2019 17:34

"[T]here are publicly and privately expressed concerns that one of the new self-identifying officers has not been sincere about their identification."

Acceptance without exception.

Wait! There's more from Councillor Grahl

"If this is the case, it's also a deeply concerning situation... at a time when the rights of LGBT+ people are under threat globally the left must be in the forefront of the struggle to defend these."

The intelligence of this statement is on a power with the intelligence of Boris Turd Johnson.
