Lil' OJ is being demolished as he tries to defend Bergdorf etc

Look now if you're interested as it will no doubt be deleted soon.

I feel like the older I get, the more I think it's just a lot better when people were expected to keep their sex lives private and there weren't articles about it in magazines or tv or anything else

Yes, and recent reports suggest that young people are having less sex than ever. They're surrounded by it...and so much pornography addiction...that just straightforward 'normal' sex or love-making is no longer a turn on. It's not liberating. All it represents is a gross distortion of a normal and natural human function/drive.

Doyoumind · 13/06/2019 15:10

OJ is in an echo chamber because he blocks those who disagree. Anything or anyone not agreeing is simply homophobic / transphobic. He won't read or respect anyone who criticises. I still can't believe he gets away with covering MB so much over so few days in a way that ignores the actual issues though.

As a bisexual woman I am fucking disgusted that OJ is making out this is an issue of homophobia.

It absolutely isn't. Neither is it an issue of transphobia, kink shaming or fetish judging.

It's about someone absolutely, undeniably acting in an unprofessional way by videoing themselves wanking and pissing at work then uploading it to the internet.

The rubber and the fact it's a children's charity are just additional factors that make people uncomfortable.

A straight man doing this would be fired. Therefore so should a gay or trans man or woman. THAT is equality.

My sexuality does not give me the right to carte blanche when it comes to expecting preferential treatment when I am in the wrong.

He made an unprofessional and foolish decision to film and share what he did. That is the fact of the matter - having equal consequences to straight cis counterparts is not homophobia or transphobia, it is equality in action.

And now OJ has run away. He cannot seriously believe that any action there than firing the NSPCC employee in question would be appropriate.

Again I am bisexual and have of course encountered homophobia. Not in my fucking name OJ, how dare you use my sexuality to defend the indefensible.

Goosefoot · 13/06/2019 14:31

I am really curious as to whether OJ doesn't get it, or somehwo shuts out the facts, or just thinks its better to ignore things that don't help his narrative, or what.

Because I really think even the vast majority of men know this is not on. I think even men who might think it is ok to wank in toilets at work know that if they film it and put it on the internet, they are idiots who will get fired.

But I felt like a proper voyeur watching this creepy love in and couldn't stomach the outright lies and propaganda either:

www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/video/2019/jun/13/owen-jones-meets-munroe-bergdorf-its-like-people-have-free-rein-to-harass-the-trans-community

Do neither of them read the feedback they are recieving on twitter? Do they just throw their opinions out but never listen to what other people are saying?

DanaPhoenix · 13/06/2019 14:12

I agree goosefoot there have been important advances in the acknowledgement of lesbian/homosexual/bisexual relationships. That's great and how it should be. I've partied in gay clubs in my younger days, same sex couples making out, arseless chaps, leather gear, transvestites it's all a bit meh to me.

Some images recent pride parades are concerning, especially the ones involving children. Let me first clarify that children should always feel loved by their parents and never feel ashamed. I understand that part of that is children being able to celebrate and acknowledge their parents love. Unfortunately I find myself increasingly uncomfortable with the pride parades of late because it is so highly sexualised it is inappropriate to children.
There was a recent clip I saw on the internet of a young boy (10 or under) dancing and twerking. What caught my eye was the surrounding crowd. Partly into his dance a person who I could probably best describe as a cross between Rainbow Brite and Chucky started undulating towards the boy. A female bystander put her arm out to stop his progress. She knew. She knew instinctively. It's sad that what should be a celebration has become marred by fetishists.

I'm just going to say it. People can accuse me of kink shaming. Whatever. Wear your leather, get spanked, choked, rape fantasies, keep it in the privacy of your home, between consenting adults and be sure to use your safe word. Never in front of kids. That goes for both heterosexual and gays. I'm going to stop here because there are other proclivities that crept under the kink banner that I haven't mentioned. Things that if anyone has listened or read anything to do with true crime know can lead to a very dark path.

Does he still work for the charity?

Can't believe this isn't headline stuff coming, as it does, in the week that Oxfam having their arse handed to them. Why aren't journalists crawling all over it?

Are all charities stuffed with creeps and weirdos?

And come on, doing that in the toilet at work and then explicitly mentioning the children's charity is bloody creepy and well weird, non?

Doyoumind · 13/06/2019 14:07

I didn't get past the first few seconds of the video. I'm not interested. It's a total misrepresentation to ignore the real reason MB got binned. It's shit 'journalism'.

I tried, honestly I did.

youkiddingme · 13/06/2019 13:57

I'm with you goosefoot - not because there is anything shameful about adult consensual sex but because I don't want it ramming down my throat left right and centre.
There's nothing shameful about taking a dump but I'm not going to start shoving my turds under people's noses.

WrathofGRAkIop · 13/06/2019 13:46

Goosefoot
No such thing as keeping it private these days.

On a previous thread there was a quote that went something like:

"As the queers and liberals walked through the door, they left it open for the perverts to sneak in behind, unnoticed".

FreeFreesia · 13/06/2019 13:40

Ovahere Blimey oblivious. Someone tell them their timing is off!

Goosefoot · 13/06/2019 13:27

I feel like the older I get, the more I think it's just a lot better when people were expected to keep their sex lives private and there weren't articles about it in magazines or tv or anything else.

This concept that it's better to have it all out in the open doesn't seem to have worked out so well.

DanaPhoenix · 13/06/2019 13:25

All good Zutt no offence was taken. I just thought it best to clarify just in case.

littlbrowndog · 13/06/2019 13:22

Yeah he went dressed in his fetish clothes as was exciyin* for him

To his work. In the nspcc.

🤔

christinarossetti19 · 13/06/2019 13:22

"In one of his porn videos/pictures he mentions it takes place in the Nspcc offices. I wonder if anyone enjoyed it more knowing that?"

Exactly, Zutt. That made me feel physically sick.

This is a national, reputable newspaper - where is the editorial control?

It makes you wonder who occupies the Celebrity & Talent Officer role, or equivalent, at The Guardian.

ZuttZeVootEeeVro · 13/06/2019 13:18

DanaPhoenix. I wasn't having a go at you. Sorry if it seemed that way.

I'm slow, it took me longer to type my two lines then it took you to type your post.

DanaPhoenix · 13/06/2019 13:13

Hey Zutt to avoid any confusion my post was biting sarcasm to mask my incandescent rage.
