I asked her about that specifically, she said that might work, but it could be difficult to define what counted as ill-repute. Which I suppose might be true these days when there are those who think it is a good idea to link pictures of their fetishes to their linkedin accounts.

LOJ won't listen to women's views, well, unless those views immediately conform to his anyway. He sends his "mother's" Twitter account in to deal with the women's views. Or stomps off in a huff from a TV studio.

It's pathetic. His views flip flop according to the zeitgeist, and, as soon as the tide changes in this, he'll delete his Twitter posts and pretend he was always on this side of things. Just like he did with Corbyn.

I've been chatting to a family member about this, she doesn't know anything about it but is involved in a lot of management stuff and asked her team what they thought. She thought it would actually be difficult to fire someone for having a video like that.

As far as Mr Jones seems to be concerned "transphobia" means a disbelief that humans can change sex.

In which case, UK law is transphobic, because UK law is explicit .. humans cannot change sex.

And, since I do not believe that humans can change sex, I am happy to be described as "transphobic" in that context.

Has he even addressed the video? I don't know anyone who would defend that. Surely everyone knows that they would be fired from that in any job?

I personally helped organise one of your ‘Unseat’ events.

Since then though, I have become increasingly aware of how little respect men on the left have for women, and as someone who grew up on a council estate and ‘worked’ in the sex ‘industry’, I’m thoroughly sick of middle class men telling me that prostitution is a choice, and really no different to any other McJob.

Then Munroe Bergdorf told women they shouldn’t talk about reproductive rights because it wasn’t inclusive and Cancer Research called me a cervix-haver and The Guardian called me a menstruator and here I am, on Mumsnet.
Because it’s full of women who are sick and tired of being told we can’t have boundaries, or equal political representation, and that penises are a female sex organ.

I think instead of slagging people off he should come over, sign up and explain in great detail how:
a - men can change into women, what happens exactly and at what point this change occurs
b - it is homophobic to point out that not all gay men wank at work, video it and put it on their linked in biogs and to do so is a safeguarding risk.

As he seems intent on telling us that we are all such transphobes and homophobes, come and explain it to us. I'd really like to know.

He is someone who needs to take some time out. His days must be filled with stress and hatred thinking the world is against him. I don't give a shiny shit if he's gay. Who he or anyone sleeps with is not interesting to me tbh.
