Owen Jones looking to take on Janice Turner

Janice Turner isn't happy with Munroe Bergdorf working with Childline; Jones goes in to bat (not baseball bat. yet) for Bergdorf.

Seems to be accusing her of, amongst other things, misogyny by association. Which is interesting.

Love how he is vocal on this but not a word about Bergdorfs breach of safeguarding norms, vile racist, homophobic, lesbophobic and misogynistic tweets. Bergdorf has provided a veritable buffet of tweets the likes of OJ froth over....but it's tumbleweed. Funny that.

I don't know what his purpose is with this - is he trying to bring the NSPCC into line, the Times into line or just looking to make a distraction (and if so, from what?)

Funny that OJ is getting involved though. He had naff all to say about Julie Bindel being attacked.

But give him a male being made to reap the consequences of their own words and he's right on it.

Bergdorf's gay bashing comments will get aired far and wide now. And then OJ will have to condemn those gay bashing comments while also defending those gay bashing comments.

Should be interesting.
