I came across a post on Twitter which included what appears as a screenshot from a WhatsApp conversation with a gender critical ally. The image is attached for reference.

It is so disappointing to see this, are women's boundaries just amusing to everyone? How can we work together when our sex based rights are just 'politics'?

I think this is a result of discussions being personality based on forums like Twitter. It's much more about who is saying what than what is being said.

I am really not interested in reading about various people falling out.

The fact is that Spinster was never intended to be and is not a women-only social media space. It was always intended as a mixed-sex space. Central to this intent is to provide women with a social media space that will not censor them in the way that other social media spaces do.

Spinster is a woman-centric space.

Anyone who becomes abusive toward any woman in that space will be excluded via the reporting and banning mechanism. Users are given no second chance. They get one warning. After that, if they ignore that warning they are gone.

Spinster is an alternative social media space that is respectful toward women.

Any potential users who are unable to comply with the current stated rules for maintaining that respect need to stay away.

I'm no fan of many of the arguments on these forums but Debbie H is a hypocrite who deserves nothing but contempt across the divide. They have argued against many of the things that transgender people have been calling for while enjoying them themselves. How can you possibly argue against GRA changes while having no GRC yourself and behaving like the perfect example of self-ID?

Debbie even tries to argue that trans students are trying to commit suicide at a greater rate, the most oppressed and at risk. What is the difference between Debbie and Mermaids, is Debbie now a spokesperson for Mermaids?

We are all susceptable to unwittingly becoming 'flying monkeys', those who are manipulating will very likely remain hidden.

Its a common pattern of abuse.
