This is not a neutral space. Why would someone come on this particular forum and make such unreasonable requests. I think it is an exercise in damage limitation; trying to shift the guilt away from the perpetrator and the movement they represent. And if this person is indeed so mentally unstable - then should they do something ill-considered then it is the fault of the women here.

I've been at a conference with the real Cathy Brennan (c2012) and she is lovely. However, even then there was the infiltration by this vile person and GTrender was on it. I think Cathy had to go undercover. Gallus was very circumspect about it all.

I think those Twitter responses are pretty moderate given the situation, Ginger. You don’t see “Brennan” and co being so measured in their language. We should not have to tiptoe around violent men, there are plenty of women who have spent their lives doing that and it still didn’t save them. And I don’t particularly care why someone is violent, it just needs to bloody stop.
