If you could chose sex from birth would you live as a man?

I realised almost every bad or difficult thing thats happened to me personally most likely wouldn't happen to a guy. So if could chose, I think I would probably chose to live life as a man. This makes me a bit sad.

How about you guys?

You do kind of have a point though

Flanner0475 · 06/06/2019 16:54

I'm not going back to re read it right now, but wasn't he just defending me, after I somehow managed to offend 3 or 4 separate people just by saying women have an easier time getting casual sex (something I haven't actually seen anyone deny yet).

ZebrasAreBras · 06/06/2019 16:46

Flanner - That's an odd way to describe a thread clearly dominated by details of dwatsuts sex life.

Flanner0475 · 06/06/2019 16:38

I'm not an incel, I was just saying that aspect of being a woman I would like. You know, like the thread was mean to be about before getting derailed by a bunch of women with a chip on their shoulder about men. ¯\(ツ)/¯

lorit · 06/06/2019 16:30

And by lovely I mean creepy as actual fuck.

lorit · 06/06/2019 16:29

Always lovely when incels show up here.

"most men would be prepared to swim through a lake of snot for the sake of a shag.

'Pick and choose' versus what? Being so desperate that you'll have sex with anything, however 'unattractive' you might find them. But then we already knew that, given the industry that men have created around that desperation (or around that urge to control). I'm so glad I'm a dyke................."

I don't agree at all. I think men are less picky for casual sex because they get it less often. I might swim through snot to have sex with a truly beautiful woman. Women would skip that and head to the bar, a lot easier.

And anyway, I don't think men are desperate to have sex with really unattractive women, they just envy how a woman can get with a man 'out of her league' or at least within. A lot of men are faced with settling, or not having sex at all. Personally I would always choose the latter.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 06/06/2019 15:12

No way. I'd hate to be a man

dwatsuts · 06/06/2019 15:09

'Pick and choose' versus what? Being so desperate that you'll have sex with anything, however 'unattractive' you might find them.

You tend to be more thankful for what you have if the opportunity arises less frequently. If you eat chocolate bars constantly, you start to feel sick of them and you will be far more selective with the kind of chocolate you eat. If you only get to eat a chocolate bar once a year, it tastes like heaven.

I'm always very grateful when the opportunity arises, and I always feel amazed and in awe that I can be in the company of a woman who is OK with showing me everything. The last woman I had sex with said I was looking at her so intensely, she felt like she was being examined by a doctor...

SomeDyke · 06/06/2019 14:57

you're in a position that allows you to pick and choose

I've just had a very vivid flashback to the SCUM Manifesto, I think some paragraph that most men would be prepared to swim through a lake of snot for the sake of a shag.

'Pick and choose' versus what? Being so desperate that you'll have sex with anything, however 'unattractive' you might find them. But then we already knew that, given the industry that men have created around that desperation (or around that urge to control). I'm so glad I'm a dyke.................

Flanner0475 · 06/06/2019 14:56

*that's terrible

Missed a word

Flanner0475 · 06/06/2019 14:55

I never denied women are at risk of sexual violence. They are and thats but plenty of women don't let that stop them living there lives, and the ones that want to get laid, do so. And they don't do it to get some guy off, women do like sex don't they?

SimplySteveRedux · 06/06/2019 14:55

I've faced societal persecution and had years of childhood abuse as a male, my childhood would have been so much easier if I'd been female. I have watched DD, and DP, be subject to horrendous levels of abuse - DP has significant QoL issues and disability and I have no doubt over the 20+ years we've been together her sex has initiated or exacerbated the issue. It makes me incredibly sad watching DD encounter abuse due to her sexual preference, again she is targeted because she is female.

With having seen what they have both suffered, and will no doubt continue to suffer, would I want to have been born female? Even though my childhood abuse likely wouldn't have existed? No. I don't say that lightly either, as due to the abuse I have PTSD and cPTSD.

Quietlife333 · 06/06/2019 14:52

No, I know men who have had a terrible time, but then also women too. I know both sexes that have have great lives, most people I know are happy and well adjusted in equal number men and women.

Michelleoftheresistance · 06/06/2019 14:52

Any women left here managing to get a word in edgewise? Confused

ZebrasAreBras · 06/06/2019 14:50

I would shag my female friends if they wanted to.

How very kind of you. Thank you for this valuable service to womankind.

I dont have any real female friends though

Gosh, that is a surprise.

SomeDyke · 06/06/2019 14:49

I dont have any real female friends though...
You do surprise me.................

but when that's pointed out - well, she can proposition male friends!! Woo. Hoo.

Yeah.

Why not?

I would shag my female friends if they wanted to. I dont have any real female friends though, they are all just acquaintances.

dwatsuts · 06/06/2019 14:43

I thought you were talking about 'some chav' you had arranged to meet for sex and the possibility that she may attack you.

Women dont attack men... or at least, it's rare.

MRAs - making out women have it easier because they can "get sex easier" since 1976. With no awareness of why some women might be wary of casual sex with a man they don't know - but when that's pointed out - well, she can proposition male friends!! Woo. Hoo. Tiresome.

dwatsuts · 06/06/2019 14:34

How could you dehumanise a prospective sexual partner as 'some chav' though.

Josepheen.

A man who pretends to be a woman online and beats you up after you foolishly agreed to go to his apartment is not a prospective sexual partner.

dwatsuts · 06/06/2019 14:31

Honestly, I don't think it's wise for anyone to meet a stranger for sex.

Indeed.

Although women can proposition their male friends, who they know well and trust, for sex. You can also gauge which men are potentially violent by talking to female friends who have previous experience with the same man.

As a man, I would never proposition my female friends... I wouldn't risk damaging my casual friendships and I know they are going to say no.
