is how India Willoughby describes the people she thinks have influenced the Scout's very sensible decision.
Is it a compulsory feature of womanhood, appropriated or not, to have long hair??! Confused

It was gaslighting of the women (adult human females) 'locked' in the Big Brother house with a male person.

The responses by some of the women should be considered when confronted by an angry and controlling male.

In UK prisons, vulnerable females are actually locked in with males who have been convicted of often violent crimes. Those women cannot leave. The State / Ministry of Justice similarly gaslights the female prisoners that the males they are locked in with are women.

Well, yes......enforced speech creates a false reality, and subsequent feelings of dissociation. Scary stuff! But that is where we find ourselves.

Just tried to comment on an article by Peter Tatchell in the Guardian. I tried my utmost to clothe and couch my words in 'acceptable' language. But I suspect that even then it will not be posted. Some things can no longer even be mentioned. Even if true.

I've long suspected that gay men are particularly prone to narcissism.
Link to a couple of articles about homosexual and Transexual narcissism: www.justinduwe.com/narcissistic-personality-disorder-and-gay-men-a-view-from-a-leading-london-psychologist-for-gay-community/

Language does not belong to any one person. Language is a social tool.
Words and meanings have to be negotiated and agreed, not enforced.
People will speak instinctively. If they see and perceive a man they will say he.

see recent article on pronouns & the power of language on cognition by Barra Kerr

(extract)
"Incongruent pronouns also make your brain work much harder; not just when you are using them, but when you are receiving them as information. You are working constantly to keep that story straight in your head. Male or female? Which one, again? Concentrate harder. Ignore your instincts, ignore your reaction.

And that’s just you. You’re already aware of all the pertinent information, already alert, you know the score, no flies on you.

And you’re still affected emotionally and instinctively by incongruent pronouns, nouns, and names. Despite your efforts to be immune. You’re not immune to this effect. You can know perfectly the actual sex of a male person, and yet you will still react differently if someone calls them she instead of he.

So what then, is the impact on everyone who isn't even aware yet, hasn't fully comprehended yet what’s going on?" (continues)

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 28/05/2019 11:09

Did they say ‘penerate (f’narrrrr f’narrrrrrr)’ or in a Darlek voice?

RoyalCorgi · 28/05/2019 11:07

There's something particularly hilarious about the choice of the word "penetrates". Poor India's not the sharpest tool in the box, is she?

Also - let it be recorded that that is the first time I have ever felt sorry for Ann Widdecombe.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 28/05/2019 11:06

Hang on a mo. When I was a teenager I had my hair mostly shaved off (as was the fashion) and my dad said it suited me because I had a cute girly face. Was a really doing ‘manface’ 😲. Do forgive me...

IAmAlwaysLikeThis · 28/05/2019 10:23

I'm very confused by the fact that you can't say anything against any trans people and they can present how they like blah blah but she's allowed to say 'short hair' like it's an insult.

But what if I am non binary? I have boobs and long hair and hairy legs. I must be non binary.

HELP ME INDIA.

littlbrowndog · 28/05/2019 10:21

I know rowan. 😂

I have medium length hair and short legs but know am a woman.

Yeah I thought what iw said was aimed at lesbians tbh

MenuPlant · 28/05/2019 10:17

There was also that v funny piece by a trans person who was a goth, complaining that goth boys wearing eyeliner made it super difficult for the trans person to indicate what gender they were presenting as and it would all be much better for trans people if only women wore makeup.

At the root of this is the problem that many many people are gender non conforming to a greater or lesser extent, and very very few conform all the time. And this causes issues for trans people such as India, their approach is based on being recognised as female by adhering to the trappings of femininity, for this to work, all women must do this. Hence the anger at women who don't eg shave legs or have long hair. This anger is built on top of old school sexism /lesbophobia.

DodoPatrol · 28/05/2019 08:11

Just watched that clip. Oh good grief.

We all know that tense wariness as some unpredictable pissed-off bloke prowls up squaring his shoulders.

India might like to have a rethink about reminding women of that with India’s every action.

NotTerfNorCis · 28/05/2019 07:34

This just shows that people who identify as the opposite sex have to uphold gender.

The YouTube star Contrapoints did something similar recently. Contrapoints suggested that women in academia who don't wear make up are suppressing their natural femininity in order to be taken seriously. Both CP and Willoughby believe the essence of being a woman is not biology but stereotypical feminine traits, particularly wanting long hair , shaved legs, make up etc. Famous TRA Julia Serano also argues that feminism should focus on people with feminine traits, not on people with female biology. This is why trans ideology is so regressive.

terfsandwich · 28/05/2019 00:31

Wow just watched that clip. Wow.

Wow.

The body language as India slumps in the door.

Wow.

R0wantrees · 27/05/2019 23:22

littlbrowndog
Im quoting not instructing.
I don't think Ive ever said those words to a woman, especially not whilst stabbing my finger at them.

Maybe its an age thing?
Maybe its a sex thing?
Maybe its a rowantree thing?

Hmm
AncientLights · 27/05/2019 23:18

I'd never seen that BB clip before. What an amazing lack of self-awareness India has. And that walk.....

littlbrowndog · 27/05/2019 23:09

No,thanks rowan. No penetrating. 😂😂
