Please can Harry be dropped from the Fair Cop campaign. Having an overt racist involved will just damage it. Thank you

I'm not frothing and he's not my hero. You say you've contacted those whom are in control of the Fair Cop campaign, fine, still doesn't explain why you expect MN FWR to 'drop' someone from a campaign they have no control over.

I listen to most people, until they prove themselves unwilling to listen to others in turn, or seem determined to avoid introspection as to whether they may have misinterpreted someone else's words.

No idea who you are, OP. But I have as little tolerance for people who deliberately misinterpret the intentions of others from the GC side as I do the TRA side.

And the Tommy Robinson tweets were sent during the sadly brief period when he'd renounced extremism and was working with Quilliam, as I understand it. But I'm sure context isn't relevant.

Harry had answered questions about various rather old tweets. He was pretty clear that his views have changed.

This board is evidently considered to be massively important in terms of influence given the number of people who monitor it and regularly pop up to chide us for not doing womanning or feminism or political activism well enough.
How on earth we women manage our lives and politics without their chivvying and criticism and tone deaf guidance I cannot imagine Confused

The sad thing is that if i had posted here under my real name you would listen to me. Some of you know me well. Please search Facebook and Twitter before you chuck what I have posted in the bin. I guess that I should not be surprised at the reactions here, UK feminism does have huge issues around Xenophobia, Lesbophobia and race.

93% of the population are GC. That 83% of the population will have all manner of views on other issues.

It seems only the illiberal left who see the world in black and white: agree with us on everything or you are a bad person.

Harry is defending free speech, which includes an individual's right to disagree with him on some, many or most things. Good on him.

Details of his crowd funder are on his Twitter. He needs help. He is doing this for all of us. (Including our OP.)

I have already stated that I have done that Red. I feel that others should know whom they are supporting. The fact that you are all frothing over your hero says a lot. Search him in twitter and Tommy Robinson. Search him and muslims. You can check out whether I am telling the truth or not.

I'll say it again in simple terms - MN FWR are not in control of the Fair Cop campaign, MN FWR did not set it up, MN FWR did not select who should run it or organise it, MN FWR have no influence over it, MN FWR cannot 'drop' someone from it.

Take your issues to those who are, did and can.

Would also like to point out that there is nothing more #whitefemenism that assuming religion is equivalent to race in POC. Having darker skin doesn’t make you suddenly incapable of free will.

Ffs ISLAM IS NOT A RACE! It’s a choice. It’s a belief that you eother hold or don’t. It is a reflection on your morality and principles etc while race is a reflection on nothing beyond your appearance. Case in point: no matter how hard I try I will never be able to change my race so it would be shitty to make judgements on that basis. However I am no longer Muslim. Feel free to judge away about what that means about the kinds of things I do and do not believe.
