What with Debbie Hayton's article in the TES, TRAs have issued twitter orders that looking things up on Transgender Trend must stop immediately.

There has been an All Ports warning that the more you visit the website, the more it rises up the google rankings, and knocks other transgender websites off their perches. This is erasure, they say.

Now do as you are told. Stop driving by Transgender Trend at least once a day, if not more, and ruining things.

I'm so pleased you advised us not to look at that website. I didn't look, I may have clicked on the link but then I took my glasses off, so I couldn't see a thing. I definitely have not looked at [www.transgendertrend.com]

transcrimeuk.com/ is another website that should absolutely not be given any traffic ever. It's absolutely not a useful resource in may way. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

According to the Alexa stats above www.transgendertrend.com/ has 24 sites linking to it.

Obviously MN is one I wonder what the others are?

The Alexa analysis suggests 4thwavenow.com/ as a similar site as well as www.peaktrans.org/ so I guess they might be another two...

Just wanted to gently point out that Google tailors search results to what it thinks you want to see.

People from FWR probably get www.transgendertrend.com/ as a top result, TRAs may well not.

Thank you OP. After a visi yo my school by a transgender tights organisation where we were all labelled cis by the speaker, a non binary, male presenting, assigned female at birth 'they', I certainly won't be asking my school to have a look at this website alongside the information given by the organisation. I also won't be asking all my colleagues to look it up.

I'm confused.

So are we not supposed to Google 'trans schools', go to the TT website and spend some time looking around the site and visiting various pages?

And how bad is it if that's what I've just done? Twice.

I was looking for advice for schools and GIDS came up - pointing to the Allsorts Toolkit. Which doesn't follow the GIDS advice to keep options open.

It’s amazing how quickly things change. I just tried ‘support trans pupils’. TT was on page six. Repeat the search and it is on the first page.

well, I definitely won't google that term, go to page 2 of the results, click on transgender trend and have a look round. That would be completely counter productive
