Call me a cynic, but at the moment, that photo just smacks of Corbyn appearing to appeal to everyone. Until he sorts out all women short lists in Labour for a kick off, I'll remain sceptical.

I would say it's the Labour leadership job to prove that they are not responsible for everything bad that's ever happened, surely? It's not our job to do anything for them. Fairly basic part of politics.

What's the practical difference between after the revolution, love and woman is a feeling in a man's head?

Until women make it entirely clear that Labour has more to lose by abandoning women than by abandoning its Woke activist base, no difference.

No. If you’re an MP passing laws, let alone a cabinet member, it is your job to speak out, not to keep your head down while ordinary women are arrested, abused and fired for voicing opinions.

John McDonnell DID meet with women's place UK. He also follows a number of gender critical people on twitter. I know what i guess his views are.

It is our job to make it possible for politicians to speak out without it being political suicide.

I really, really want to get my hopes up and think this is the start of something positive...

In reality I’m waiting for the shrieking to start and the inevitable grovelling apology for daring to even consider that women may actually be worth something.
