Phoned up Dudley gyms as had sudden urge to get fit without a long contract.
“Yes, yes, the changing areas are sex separated”
“can men who say they are women use the female changing areas”
“its discriminatory not to allow this” “even if the Equality Act says it is acceptable to separate in changing areas”
“its discriminatory not to allow them in”
“even though they probably still have penises”
“its discriminatory not to allow this”
“what about discriminating against women and girls?”
“...”

The chances are if you did see a trans person, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway.

Oh yes, I would be so unable to tell if someone like JY walked into the change room that they were male. /s

You are just showing you truly have no clue how far trans ideology has now gone.

JessicaWakefieldSV · 06/05/2019 14:27

Men go to great lengths to access women’s bodies, just ask Karen White.

JessicaWakefieldSV · 06/05/2019 14:26

It's highly amusing that you think I'm the one who resorted to personal insults.

You did from the get go. You deserve no respect if you’re coming here with your misogynistic crap.

GCAcademic · 06/05/2019 14:25

Not all people with penises rape. But all rapes are carried out by people with penises. It really is that simple. The intellectual dishonesty that people will perform in their desperation to seem woke never ceases to amaze me. Female socialisation has really done a number on those women who are angrily arguing against their own interests because the worst possible thing in life is being seen as someone who doesn’t please men.

DarkAtEndOfTunnel · 06/05/2019 14:24

I hope not. Let everyone see. There's too much hiding - we need some plain truth.

VeronicaDinner · 06/05/2019 14:23

No, people are not interested in the OP's body in the changing rooms. Have you actually been to the gym before? No one is interested in anyone's body but their own. And if people are that self conscious, they can just go in a cubicle? Or go in their gym clothing and shower at home? Anything sensible like that, rather than imagining the changing room full of big swinging dicks. Absolutely irrational.

I see we've fallen back on insults now. Can't answer reasons and logic? Just create more fantasy. Like women have ever committed sexual assault in the numbers that men do. Really. In the same world where porn and prostitution etc are not overwhelmingly aimed at men, I guess.

Trans people are not rapists. There are plenty of sexual assaults by women I could mention. But that doesn't count I suppose because not all women, right?

Males rape. Regardless of ‘identity’. They’re responsible for ALL rapes because you need a penis to rape in this country. Males commit 96% of sexual assaults. Since they don’t wear a badge declaring they’re predatory abusive or fetishist, all males should stay the fuck out & any gym doing otherwise are bastards.

VeronicaDinner · 06/05/2019 14:18

Please please do give me the grey rock. Anything to avoid more of your insipid ad hominens.

SarahTancredi · 06/05/2019 14:17

Women should have the right to penis free zones. End of.

If it hurts your feelings then you are not the kind of person who should be in there anyway.

Decent people dont want to invade spaces they dont belong in.

Yes, sure. Everyone who disagrees with you has a tiny brain. I just can't grasp big clever thoughts like you, can I? And I must be a man, mustn't I, if I don't agree with you?

Grow up.

titchy · 06/05/2019 14:13

Trans people are completely ordinary. They are not rapists.

Tell that to Karen White's victims. Tell that to the 10 yo raped by the tw in the ladies in Scotland. Tell that to Davina Aytons victims.

Or did those things never happen?

And as for men not donning a wig to access someone to rape - hilarious. They do a damn site more than that love.

Venonica
The whole purpose of risk assessments, safeguarding and single sex facilities (along with privacy and decency) is because whilst these events may be rare, the impact is very serious .

We know that sexual predatory men (and nearly all sex offenders are male) have become teachers, doctors, priests, coaches, social workers, therapists, parents in order to gain access to women and children. So even if most trans people are not dangerous, the idea that some dangerous men would not self ID to go into women's changing areas, if they were unchallengeable, is ludicrous. How do you tell the difference?

One can regularly see photos on social media of people claiming to be trans taking selfies in women's changing rooms in US/Canada in which they are posing for their own sexual pleasure. This should not be happening at all. In practice we should keep any communal changing rooms separated by sex and have some mixed sex private cubicles for those who choose to use them

VeronicaDinner · 06/05/2019 14:06

I am hardly offended by the opinion of someone who is clearly so far from being able to form a rational assessment of other people.

GCAcademic · 06/05/2019 14:06

Yes, the nonsense idea that rapists are now putting on wigs to attack women

What are you on about? They don’t have to put on a wig. Nothing. Nada. They just have to utter the magic word, “identify” and stroll in. You sound very ignorant of what is going on. Perhaps you live in a lovely, middle-class privileged bubble where all men only have honourable intentions. Let’s hope you don’t have to learn the hard way, like lots of women do.

DarkAtEndOfTunnel · 06/05/2019 14:06

It does happen. There have been reports of it happening.

Also, it isn't just rapists. Did you miss the bit about all the men who regularly get off on intimidating women and girls, and harassing them? I could not walk 1/2 a mile down a road without that as a teen.

You're right that it's a question of risk assessment. Every woman and girl has to do a risk assessment when they walk into an area alone with men. Just run that thought through in your head again.

You have no rights, no rights whatsoever, to tell any woman and girl, that their risk assessment is wrong when it is based on reality. All these things that you persist in telling us don't happen, happen.

So what it comes down to Veronica is why should we take that risk? Why is the male need for validation considered so much more important than our demonstrable and provable need for physical safety?

VeronicaDinner · 06/05/2019 14:05

Trans people are completely ordinary. They are not rapists. Can't believe you don't see how offensive that suggestion is.
