How Many Of These Secret Gross Girl Things Have You Done, Really?
We're all a little bit gross.

Plucked your nipple hair.

Continued to wear pants that have period blood on them,.

got your pubes trapped in your pads wings,.

bled on to your sheets a TINY bit but were too tired to change them ASAP

Only shaved bits of skin that would show.

Worn a pair of underwear even when you couldn't get the period stains out.

Good spot aswede

CountFosco · 30/04/2019 19:31

They only didn't do a 'secrey gross boy things' because it would fill the entire internet. Although there's a good selection on the Relationships board.

HumberElla · 30/04/2019 19:04

All of them. Lots. Oh except the first one cos i’d rather leave them alone.

BettyFilous · 30/04/2019 18:59

This thread is cracking me up.

Perimenopause reminds me a lot of puberty with the feast or famine periods and - yep - the Carrie-like flooding. I’ll admit to accidentally epilating with the wings on pads.

Also, why would you shave the bits that don’t show? It only grows back so you have to keep doing it, plus there’s a really annoying prickly phase in the middle.

ASwede · 30/04/2019 18:58

^Plucked your nipple hair.
Only shaved bits of skin that would show.^

So both removing body hair and not removing all body hair is "disgusting"?

Q: What’s your favourite period film?
A: Carrie

This has reminded me of Fleabag:
Q: What’s your favourite period film?
A: Carrie.

StopThePlanet · 30/04/2019 18:49

BettyDuMonde

We have three dark colored designated sex sheets and use them religiously and never as bedsheets - period bedsheets are a must we call them "Carrie".

Th0ughtCriminal · 30/04/2019 18:47

Jeez.

Who writes these? I think I can safely say that not a single girl at my sixth form thinks any of these things are "disgusting". Got to be a misinformed man, surely?

I have gone right off jellyfrizz

forget nipples (although I pluck them too), I reserve most of my energy for my chin.

Laughed so hard at this I managed to breathe coffee into my sinus!!! Right there with you on this - my chin is a battleground! Lmao!

how about bled all over those bad boys then climbed right back in the next night? The milk didn't go sour or anything, and the cows still gave birth.

You are killing me! So funny (and true).

moonrises · 30/04/2019 18:39

I am going to have to take everyone's word that plucking nipple hair is satisfying. The thought makes my toes curl.

But the rest, completely normal.

Charley50 · 30/04/2019 18:33

Betty 😂😂
I'm

BettyDuMonde · 30/04/2019 18:29

I can hear my late Nan’s voice now... ‘What? Oh jjust stick a towel over it for now’ Grin

SlipperyLizard · 30/04/2019 18:27

I often don’t shave the bits that are visible, let alone those that aren’t. Who cares if my legs are hairy when I go for a run?

After giving birth to DD, I managed to climb off the sticky horrible delivery bed to have a shower, only to realise my error when I got my clean self back to the still filthy bed. I got back in, as I was knackered, so a bit of period blood, whether on sheets or pants, is neither here nor there.

StopThePlanet · 30/04/2019 18:25

Maybe you should be shaving your nipple hair? [wincing at potential for damage]

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Does hair actually grow on nipples? I'm intrigued (but I'm also quite weird so there's that).

BettyDuMonde · 30/04/2019 18:23

When I was a student my boyfriend and I had some special period sex sheets we called The Night of a Thousand Virgins. BuzzFeed would've made a weird noise and exploded

Amazing. I admit, I have considered purchasing a specific ‘sex blanket’ to save on the laundry. Not keen on the available colours, mind you...

Discrete for merging with your current bedding - not when you’ve got a thing for Cath Kidston florals and vintage candlewick bedspreads it isn’t!

FloralBunting · 30/04/2019 18:16

I have no white hairs on my chest. Severe black nipple pubes for me. So much fun to pull out.

2BthatUnnoticed · 30/04/2019 18:12

Sounds like a vintage woman hating article. I’ve resolved never to click in links like that and feel better for it.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 30/04/2019 18:08

forget nipples (although I pluck them too), I reserve most of my energy for my chin.

and I love that they really couldn't let themselves go too far with this:

bled on to your sheets a TINY bit but were too tired to change them ASAP

how about bled all over those bad boys then climbed right back in the next night? The milk didn't go sour or anything, and the cows still gave birth.

StopThePlanet · 30/04/2019 18:06

MIdgebabe

Ok, not big on shaving anything, but why would anyone shave something that wasn’t visible?

I get your perspective for sure. I just think it is a personal preference thing.

For me, I was burned really badly as a prepubescent girl (2nd and 3rd degree requiring a lot of medical intervention - keloid scarring). So I shave what makes me feel good and don't worry about other people's thoughts on it. If hairy feels good, go for it! If shaven (or somewhere in between) feels good, go for it! Sometimes I go full yeti and regret it when I attempt to tame the unruly overgrowth (keloid scarring can make it scary!) lol.

terryleather · 30/04/2019 18:03

Oh so I'm not the only one to be cursed by the lone long white hair Fermats!

I usually forget mine's there until I scratch my chest and think "what the feck is that???"

Plucking it is supremely satisfying.

MyTaxiIsAlwaysLate · 30/04/2019 17:57

I only clicked on it as the image was a woman pulling the long hair that had got wedged from between her butt cheeks which was the sort of thing I was expecting. [gross] Grin Long hair problems...

OP posts:
FermatsTheorem · 30/04/2019 17:51

Terry those lone, long white hairs... What is it with them? I have one lone Dennis Healey eyebrow hair.

jellyfrizz · 30/04/2019 17:47

I'm also intrigued by the contradiction - it's gross to pluck the hair on your nipples, but it's also gross to only shave the visible parts of you?

Maybe you should be shaving your nipple hair? [wincing at potential for damage]
