Donated, thanks for the link

A nice easy way to give some bullies a kick in the proverbials

SophoclesTheFox · 30/04/2019 13:40

insists it was transphobia because that’s the perception of what happened

That's a generous way to look at it. However this is part of the supported belief exhibited by the trans lobby in many situations, that treating a trans person as anyone else, subject to the same rules and boundaries, instead of allowing them higher privilege and entitlement to do as they like on the grounds of their trans status, is transphobia. Examples abound. Cotton ceiling is only one of them

Oh, absolutely. I don’t for a second believe that Hayden is acting in good faith. The goal is to disallow any discussion, not present a sincere effort to challenge discrimination.

OhHolyJesus · 30/04/2019 13:37

Donated. Think of you Caro.

Outofexcuses · 30/04/2019 13:36

Donated.

VicSynix · 30/04/2019 13:32

Donated, even if I don't entirely agree with Caroline on her religious views, but I am so appalled by this campaign of bullying and aggression.

As I have said many times, people should have questioned many things in the past 20 years and one of which is the freedom that we has gradually eroded under the guise of various noble causes. Now we are at this stage, anyone even remotely conservative saying anything that isnt borderline insanity will be hit and hit hard. Be very careful what you say on forums and social media, the insane clown posse patrolling are looking to dox anyone who shows any opposition to them...and the degenerates in government, police and the courts back them 100%.

Outanabout · 30/04/2019 13:23

Ah searched ba k and found the link

Outanabout · 30/04/2019 13:20

Dame Celia, where did you donate? I'd like to as well... message if it's not allowed to share details of crowdfunders in threads

BlooperReel · 30/04/2019 13:18

I've donated now to the link provided above

MsMcWibble · 30/04/2019 13:14

Another who doesn't agree with Caroline on religion, but I will not stand by and let a woman be bullied into silence. Will donate and keep donating - if they shut down the crowdfunder, I'll find another way.

DameCelia · 30/04/2019 13:12

Have donated.
Keep strong Caro

BlooperReel · 30/04/2019 13:10

Another who may not agree with some of CF's views, but would support a crowdfunder. This is clear, targeted harrassment from a narcissistic MALE bully.

Michelleoftheresistance · 30/04/2019 13:04

Staggered at the mentality of trying to prevent women using standard crowd funding to legally support a woman to be fairly represented in court.

On what grounds? That it's much more fun if she's financially devastated? Legal support is for everyone, regardless of what they have been charged with or use a court regarding, that is a basic civil right. What we're seeing here is an attempt to remove civil rights from anyone being accused of displeasing the TRA political lobby.

That needs to be in all the papers please. And if any of the crowd funders buckle to the tantrums, that needs to be widely publicised too, because that is discrimination, pure and ugly and very straight forward.

insists that it was “transphobia”, because that is the perception of what happened.

That's a generous way to look at it. Sophocles, I agree very much that we don't want to leave Caroline unsupported, and that the narc we refer to will do and think as they please. But we can support Caroline by crowd funding and focusing on her and the plight of other women. Giving the narc the supply of railing at the narc isn't going to help her, that's all I'm saying.

Melroses · 30/04/2019 12:32

Striking a balance between sitting in the gallery of a narcissistic theatrical production, and supporting Caroline is hard, but I would be happy not to know the details as long as I know that C is getting good advice for herself and her family.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 30/04/2019 12:30

I very much hope that Caro is able to access some shit hot legal help, and also happy to contribute to a crowdfunder to secure this.

SophoclesTheFox · 30/04/2019 12:27

Ah now, I know you don’t think that women should shut up, floral. I hesitated before posting as you’re a poster I respect a lot and fundamentally I don’t disagree about handing over power to a no-mark by giving them the attention they crave. I’m just not sure that the outcome differs if we give Hayden that attention or not, given that Hayden is capable of brazening out situations in which Hayden is manifestly losing and is in the wrong, as if Hayden was victorious. It’s important that the other side of the story is out there to counter that, that was all I was getting at Flowers

FloralBunting · 30/04/2019 12:14

Sophocles, you know I don't think women should shut up because men say so.

But why should any woman be handing power to a pointless no mark who is only getting a narc thrill from putting the frighteners on? We have right on our side, of course we do, and every right to speak. But there is wisdom in knowing when you have more power by speaking, and when you have more power by walking away.

This is a moment for all of us, including Caroline, to turn away from the obsessive narc and any of the unknown dangerous quantities that may be inspired to escalate and treat them with the dismissive contempt they have earned and deserve.

None of us owe them anything - not our attention, not our time, not even our principled arguments.

Walk away, friends. Spend your time and energy lifting women, not letting leeches suck what they have no right to.

Genderfreelass · 30/04/2019 12:14

Big hugs and support Caro, stay strong you are doing an amazing job at shining great big bright lights!

What about the GL crowd fund that was set up which Graham said was to go towards Van cover Rape Centre and legal fees for those harassed by TRAS? Surely this case would be exactly the kind of case to be helped? I gave some money to that already and can't afford to give money to anything else until end of May.

NewspaperTaxis · 30/04/2019 12:10

Not familiar with the details of this case but I should just point out that this 'You've got something on me? I'll get something on YOU' is part of the wharp and weft of British life, I think it's based on the way American lawyers - and now probably all lawyers - work.

South Yorkshire police did it with the Hillsborough victims of course back in 1989, and persisted with it. In fact, the sure fire way of getting the State to harass you is to be wronged by them, be it the police or your local Council, because they'll follow it up by getting a file out on you, subjecting you to surveillance and gathering dirt.

Surrey County Council did it to me after I whistleblew one of their care homes which nearly killed my mother back in 2014, they literally spent years devoting their time to getting dirt on me; as far as they're concerned that's what they're paid for, and not Safeguarding their dodgy care homes - but as I say all this is based in that legal way of doing things. Simply accuse the other person of something, often the very thing they're accusing you of!

Some people reading about this latest legal move will be thinking, well, it's six of one and half a dozen of another, and a doubt is as good as a win, the thinking goes.

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 30/04/2019 12:04

Who are these people? Never heard of them.

EleanorLavish · 30/04/2019 11:58

Purplecat I'm the same. Never heard of either of them?
