The blindness and entitlement is beyond belief. Apparently there are incredible numbers of straight men who want us but refuse to ever admit to it, and cover it with transphobia

I realised too late that it was fro 2017. But it was posted on Posie Parker's Facebook today and shared a few times. Maybe it's a late developer, like some of us! A lot has changed since 2017. They actually mean this.

Rather than them working through their issues everyone else is supposed to work through them - the arrogance I'd astounding.

It is great now they are targeting men with the cotton ceiling BS though and be interesting to see twitters response and if they start banning men 😂😂

I was going to write that this will have little effect because men will just ignore the transwomen demanding their right to sex with men. Apart from possible extreme examples, it will not go beyond being a nuisance. Women don't have the luxury to be similarly unbothered.

The comparator is a female prisoner finding herself stuck in a prison with transwoman rapist versus a male prisoner finding himself stuck in a prison with transman. Who needs to be bothered more?

Anybody read the article about the man in Russia? Took a 'woman' home having sex with her realised she was transgender killed her and cut her up 🤢

I think it should be made law you have to tell any sexual partners you are transgender!!

Right, I’ll get straight to work on that because what you find attractive is very easy to change.

In India, for example, in some areas a straight man’s first sexual experience might equally be with a trans woman or a female prostitute. Occasionally you might see men run off to marry feminine looking women (they are a third gender in India and marriages are legal). But I have never seen any straight man take a masculine trans woman seriously, and I have never seen trans marriages accepted by Indian families.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, trans men are far more acceptable to Indian society but do not have the legal rights or support structures of trans women.

it's so often about sex isn't it?

while the sight of anyone trying to pressure others into sex is pretty repulsive, I will admit to a certain amount of schadenfreude at seeing a trans activist go after straight men, the top of the gender hierarchy.

Let's see how that works out for you. Hassling lesbians was a much safer bet

Well, it doesn't really. A few people with zero influence will make statements which will largely go unheard.

Realistically if a huge number of women worked hard for years to reduce inequality and still have a way to go, a couple of people demanding a shag is going to have no impact

Honestly it seems like straight men are more likely to consider this than lesbians.
Lesbians aiming to appear right-on pretend they would consider a male partner who presents as feminine. But they never actually go out with one.
Straight men pretend to be revolted but often give it a go. Certainly from among the folk I know.
They've often seen porn that fetishises it.

But I do hope men object loudly. And also hope that us lesbians arent the only ones getting flack for having boundaries.
