In honour of lesbian day of visibility tomorrow I am putting together an article of all the best lesbian singers or lesbian fronted bands. I got started with this Youtube playlist and looking for inspiration from all you fab women on mumsnet - who have I missed? If you click on the link you can add any yourselves. If you fancy adding any please feel free it's a collaborative playlist.

P.s. tegan and sarah blow they're not on there ;p

Is this on your list yet?

O'Hooley and Tiddow - folk band who wrote the closing song for the Forthcoming Gentleman Jack television series. It is being used for the series they didn't write it specifically.

Not on YouTube, but KD Laing, obv.

Can’t find how to add either but here’s some Marika Hackman for you.

(Oops, Breeders not lesbian fronted, but co-founded. That can squeak through surely - ? :) )

thefirstmrsdewinter · 25/04/2019 18:44

Yeah I'm not having much luck adding videos either. Op can you advise? Or do you mind adding these?

Xiaoxiong · 25/04/2019 18:34

I can't see your whole playlist on my phone for some reason but k d lang has the best voice in the entire universe!

FingonTheValiant · 25/04/2019 18:32

I've been trying to work out how to add things directly, but apparently I'm YouTube illiterate...
Thanks for this, I've saved to my library Flowers
