(Sorry it's DM, really sorry, but open the article for the photos..)

This has fucked me off no end. Hurt feelings?! Women who have horrific births, left with injuries and PTSD get less bloody response from hospitals than this fucker. Perhaps if birthing women identify as trans hospitals will pay them attention.

Talk about wasting NHS time and resources.

Male entitlement shining brightly.

I think the poor old NHS will need to arrange training for their staff on how to deal with malignant narcissists.

Staff need protections against this type of behaviour.

Womanhood is a costume that men can put on apparently. From Anne Summers

It is amazing what you can buy from Anne Summers these days! Hmm

grincheux · 08/04/2019 11:03

Out of interest, how are we pronouncing "errgh"?

BarbieJellyBabyBrain · 08/04/2019 10:53

I saw this in the Devon Live FB page and the comments were.... Interesting! I didn't realise that Chantelle had been strutting the hospital around in an Anne Summers outfit though, WTAF?!

From the article
She said: 'I am always dressed as a woman. I had full make-up. I had my hair on.

'Dressed as a woman'......... Womanhood is a costume that men can put on apparently. From Anne Summers.

Jesus.

That pout.....

I am not sure if MN mods allow me to confess that my first thought is Ann Summers blow up doll.

butteryellow · 08/04/2019 08:55

Fuck me. I've not spend much time in hospitals, but have a couple of bad things that I made complaints about (my son's care, my own care during labour) - and not a dicky bird.

Most oppressed minority my arse.

BusterGonad · 08/04/2019 08:44

Sorry, just got the updates. The first one is reasonably okay. (NOT for a hospital). The second a disgrace.

What’s with the face they’re pulling in the photos in the article? It’s like they are genuinely modelling their ‘female’ facial expression on a blow-up sex doll. It’s utterly bizarre.

TimeLady · 08/04/2019 07:58

Yeah, like we all go hospital visiting in an Ann Summers outfit, don't we?

That article contains a clear example of a photo being worth 1000 words.

FuzzyLilac · 08/04/2019 07:27

Why is such sexualized behaviour tolerated because the person states they are trans?

A women wearing trousers and a crop top was told to cover up or get off a plane recently. Yet this male can walk around a hospital in fetish underwear and be granted an apology because a nurse misgendered them.

The only apology should be to the patients on the ward who had someone with a penis come in wearing underwear. Where the hell was security

barbiegrl · 08/04/2019 06:20

I shudder to think of that man wearing a costume like these at a hospital...the world has gone mad!

abno · 08/04/2019 05:51

Humber exactly. I agree with all the other points too, but it's this that I find the most I silting.

I'm in a support group for women who suffered birth trauma. It's HORRIFYING what some of the women went through as a direct result of their biological sex and yet they basically have to beg for an apology - ONE apology. And that's only women who have been treated badly in birth. What about the vaginal mesh that was used despite being banned in other countries. Are those women all getting double apologies for the very real physical pain many are in? I could go on.

The only time being a woman gives you any protection or rights is if you a man.

So when health professionals see an obvious adult male wearing highly sexualised seasonal fancy dress, they are supposed to treat as ‘female’ are they? Ignore that fact he is male and treat as female, purely on the basis of the presence of frilly undies?

Jesus Christ on a f*ing unicycle. How many times have we seen press reports on desperate families asking for hospitals to recognise and apologise for medical negligence, and they’re grovelling in front of individuals like this.

I don't think the apology matters to these people at all. I think they get off on the fact that the story appears to validate their claim that they are female, and that an actual adult human female is going to be in trouble because of this.

Plus of course they get a couple of selfies printed, along with the equally ridiculous identifying as being 34.

Ringsender2 · 08/04/2019 01:15

Have you seen the link in the article? I really have no words.
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6894599/When-man-called-Mark-locked-threatening-kill-mother-child.html

Surely this shit should be legally challenged?

FerdinandAndHisMassiveBalls · 08/04/2019 01:03

If I saw a man wearing a stupid outfit like that Id assume he was dressing up as a laugh to visit a friend

I wouldn't think "woman" because women dont wear lingerie to the hospital.

nicenewdusters · 08/04/2019 00:44

Sounds more like the pantomime Dame than Mrs Claus.

I like the way it's said the nurse "believed" she was a man. No, her brain told her you were a man because that's what her eyes saw. It's an evolutionary trait, to distinguish between biological sex. No polyester outfit from Ann Summers and pornyfied hair and make up can over ride eons of evolution.
