(Sorry it's DM, really sorry, but open the article for the photos..)

This has fucked me off no end. Hurt feelings?! Women who have horrific births, left with injuries and PTSD get less bloody response from hospitals than this fucker. Perhaps if birthing women identify as trans hospitals will pay them attention.

Talk about wasting NHS time and resources.

Male entitlement shining brightly.

Oh dear, I didn't realise it was a violation of guidelines to quote the username and gender someone is using for themselves on their public Facebook page. :( I thought that was okay in cases like Phillip / Pippa Bunce where an individual is currently publically using two names and genders.

CloudRusting · 09/04/2019 12:52

The readers of the Mail certainly tell it how they see it in the comments.

If I saw a man wearing a stupid outfit like that Id assume he was dressing up as a laugh to visit a friend

If I saw a man wearing a stupid outfit like that, visiting a hospital ward, I would think he was some kind of exhibitionist getting his rocks off.

Along with being v fond of telling women they should “die in a fire”

From a quick look at their Facebook page and those articles this person appears to be needing support, either for mental health or learning disabilities. Poor person. It's vunerable folk like this that I worry about in all this.

I don't think I've ever arrived anywhere to have someone announce me with 'Erm, it's a woman..." as this person was apparently greeted with "Erm, it's a man..." Why do I get the impression that there's an awful lot of embellishment to this tale?

Just googled Justin Moorhouse - I can see why your DB thinks that Grin Maybe the nurse thought Chantelle was Justin ? In the photo of Chantelle wearing that stripey shirt and with vertical hair they look like Prue Leith. So much confusion.

"How can I help it? he blubbered. "How can I help seeing what is in front of my eyes? Two and two are four."
"Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes they are five.....You must try harder. It is not easy to become sane."

"We do not destroy the heretic because he resists us: so long as he resists us we never destroy him.....It is intolerable to us that an erroneous thought should exist anywhere in the world, however secret and powerless it may be."

George Orwell "Nineteen Eighty-Four"

Sarahjconner If you look on Facebook that is exactly as he looked before wearing women's clothes!

I'm happy to be pulled up if I break the guidelines, but like you I don't know how I did

Getting clarity on how deleted posts break guidelines and how to avoid breaking guidelines going forward is something I have found to be extremely difficult.

HumberElla · 08/04/2019 14:09

I hope you are right Ancient and rolled eyes it is. I have visions of nurses being put through re-education training for this. Featuring fetish lingerie catalogues as some sort of grim ‘spotters guide’ to gender ID.

Polyester red lace babydoll = pronoun ‘she/her’, protected characteristic letter K.

nicenewdusters · 08/04/2019 13:51

That's interesting needmorespace in light of my deletion. I'm happy to be pulled up if I break the guidelines, but like you I don't know how I did.

nicenewdusters · 08/04/2019 13:46

I've just remembered, I was wrong, I did post again last night. It was something along the lines of an evolutionary trait to be able to distinguish between the two biological sexes. But apparently that's not allowed. Funny old world.

needmorespace · 08/04/2019 13:45

I posted a thread about this yesterday but it was pulled. Have no idea why? Are we not allowed to draw attention to this story? Have not received any notification from MN to suggest why?
Nothing in my op was contentious to my knowledge.
I am so sick of this shite actually. Dressing in red nylon makes you a woman.
It is a mens sexual rights problem.

ineedaknittedhat · 08/04/2019 13:12

This is worrying for me personally. I'm a nurse and my ds2 who has aspergers is expressing an interest in going in to nursing. How would he cope with this particular individual?

It's tricky enough for psychiatric professionals to deal with narcissists, but ordinary staff can't be expected to manage this.

missyB1 · 08/04/2019 13:01

The hospital should point out that as nurse she would be pretty shit at her job if couldn’t tell the difference between male and female! Or are we now suggesting that NHS staff pretend to be blind and stupid?

AncientLights · 08/04/2019 12:50

HumberElla actually I bet the nurse isn't being reprimanded. The trust will phrase statements so it looks that way but in reality there'll just be rolled eyes. Nurses have enough shit to put up with without them being further alienated.

HumberElla · 08/04/2019 12:29

I would love to know who this unfortunate nurse is, who is being forced to apologise. I bet he or she is being properly dragged through the mill for their apparent transgression. Poor bloody sod.

AncientLights · 08/04/2019 11:22

I'd imagine anyone seeing 'Chantelle' dressed like that would think 'bloke in fancy dress'. I know I would.
