Apparently telling women to 'die in a grease fire' is hate speech. Who knew?

Have a great weekend everyone!!

You're reporting it?

HellAndDegenerates · 02/04/2019 10:06

is reporting effective?

Only if you report misgendering or people being mean to friends of the Twitter founders etc.

McKinnon and Riley and other TRAs all have connections within Twitter, they're untouchable on there and they know it, that's why it's becoming their echo chamber.

hipsterfun · 02/04/2019 10:05

How many seconds until your ‘misgendering’ post is reported, Boudicca? One, two, three, four...

BoudiccaKate · 02/04/2019 10:02

I'm so angry he only got a couple of hours.

I report his account regularly, is reporting effective?

FermatsTheorem · 02/04/2019 09:21

Rumble the ban has already been overturned. RMK has already had a complete meltdown on twitter following the overturning, raging at everyone in sight, then posting a photoshopped picture of RMK standing in what I take it is meant to be read as a heroic pose, waving a brick in front of a background of raging flames.

RMK comes across as more than a couple of chips short of the full (greasy) portion. RMK is not someone I would want to be stuck in a lift with.

Rumbletum2 · 02/04/2019 09:05

It’s easy enough to get round a twitter ban but RMK won’t be able to tweet as RMKself which, given RMKs narcissism and self regard won’t go down well. Therefore RMK won’t be able to resist making it clear who RMK is. So keep an eye open and report report report.

DodoPatrol · 02/04/2019 08:53

Oh lord, that's near my dad. Shall I get him to go? He likes to watch a bit of cycling.

Unfortunately he's also nearly 90, xenophobic (except for people he knows), homophobic (except for people he knows), blunt-speaking, and as loud as only a fairly deaf chap can be.

Prepare for loud declarations of 'Ehhhhh, that one's a fella! What's he think he looks like, racing with the girls?'

GassyAss · 02/04/2019 08:19

Info on the track masters here www.cyclingmasters.com/site/

I can’t imagine tickets are that expensive nor will there be much demand.

Ereshkigal · 02/04/2019 08:08

What "research" is that?

Oblomov19 · 02/04/2019 08:04

"But transgender athletes are due to face tighter restrictions by the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, as the maximum level of testosterone allowed will be halved."
Good. Progress, at least.

"The researchers said that there is no evidence that transgender women have a sporting advantage over athletes born female."

Seriously? Hmm

About time!

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 02/04/2019 07:52

The kid in the empirors new clothes.

But look - he’s naked!!!!

Iused2BanOptimist · 02/04/2019 07:46

I'm hoping a cycling enthusiast will drop a hint with more details about the Manchester dates. I fancy a trip. Though I am sceptical whether Rachel will come here to compete. If Rachel thinks there may be a less than warm welcome Rachel will drop out. I would love to see a totally silent audience turn their backs.

ferfexake · 02/04/2019 07:22

They are now engaging in x-forum goading...

ToeToToe · 02/04/2019 01:14

"Sport is a human right" - soon to be followed by "going into women's toilets is a human right" and "winning women's competitions is a human right."

"Women's rights - Open to all humans, regardless of sex." Right, Rachel?

ToeToToe · 02/04/2019 01:09

Is McKinnon not training at the moment? Just doesn’t look like the physique of a cyclist whatsoever.

Rachel probably finds Rachel doesn't have to train very hard to just beat the women.

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 01/04/2019 23:03

I'd love to go to Manchester in my AHF t-shirt!

Knicknackpaddyflak · 01/04/2019 22:38

Sport may be a human right. Getting to compete against women really isn't.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 01/04/2019 22:18

I'd come to Manchester to cheer her on.

I have given first aid to a poor person who got a torsion testicle cycling. So, I have handy track side skillz for her.

sackrifice · 01/04/2019 22:15

Males wanting to brick women who they also want to die in a fire.

Such a good look.

Almost as if the motivation is..male violence.

Good news everyone!

McKinnon plans to come to Manchester, UK in October to defend the Best Woman Cyclist in the World and Beyond title.

You can contribute to travel and other expenses by buying the t-shirt "Sport is a Human Right' and a crowdfunder.

McKinnon urges everyone to buy the t-shirt and wear it to show that the majority of people think Transwomen's inclusion is the right thing to do.

McKinnon has the impression that opponents are just a small group of cis transphobes. I can't wait to see what McKinnon makes of the Adult Human Female t-shirts and hoodies, not to mention billboards, that are bound to appear in Manchester in October.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 01/04/2019 21:54

I thought the one that illustrated how McK sees McKself was very telling.

theOtherPamAyres · 01/04/2019 21:39

Kiwi Farm have supplied McKinnon with a new brick

(since at least one of them is clearly reading us)

They are being pretty perceptive right now and making me laugh.
