This is getting horrific. Harry has said that his suppliers, customers and his 90 employees will read it. His entire business could fail on the back of it.

Becaue by agreeing to this formulation, or not denying it, he would be tending to incriminate himself by admitting, or not denying, that the purpose of his intervention was knowingly to cause distress and alarm, an offence under the 1994 Public Order Act.

I get distressed and upset every time I hear "trans women are women" because I am an actual biological woman and object to men stealing my reality. So UK police I wish to make an official complaint every bloody time, because it causes distress to me!

There was a specific reference to the police in the Maria Miller Enquiry.

It criticised their performance in relation to the victimisation of trans people. It told them to improve and to
(a) start training on trans isssues, as a matter of urgency
(b) crack down on transphobia
(c) review their policies in consultation with trans groups

Until such time as the government do a u-turn and admit that they gave the police shit directions that have had a catastrophic affect on police-public confidence, they will do as they have been told.

Think we should put together a list of all the things said on Twitter, Facebook, in speeches, policy documents, by lobby groups, et al that distress and upset us and send it to Inspector Wilson so he can ask them the "Why would you say that knowing it causes distress to women?"

How many pages of complaints could we produce? I reckon a hell of a lot of trees worth of paper would be needed to print them all out.

How long would it take the dear Inspector to investigate and ring everyone on the list? If he allocated all his duty time to it he would probably retire before it was completed given that new examples appear every minute of every day.
