Just that. Lily Maynard's WordPress blog has been shut down (there's a thread about it on Reddit GC, and the WordPress site is showing a "this blog has been archived" message).

I disagree. The TVA (trans validation activists) routinely and obsessively archive the blogs they don't like. Doing our job for us as per.

Oh yeah we can have a proper feminist wiki. I think there already is one on the go I don't know who runs it. Chaotic, are you on FB? Do I know who you are?

You can't rely on the WBM, for various reasons things don't get archived, the comments are missing, etc.

I would like to see a gender-critical wiki to keep track of certain people.

Incidentally, there's a certain Southend policeman who has had their page removed from Google under the 'right to be forgotten' rules.

Still in Bing tho.

Good idea to publicly fund an entire server somewhere - can split it out for various different feminist sites. Would need a guaranteed monthly amount.

It is. I'm thinking of setting one up, with multisite Wordpress. Do you want to join me in this task - if the demand is there?

I would absolutely donate towards costs incurred for someone who is willing to set up (or provide space for) a secure hosting environment/platform for feminist blogs and websites.

There are two versions of Wordpress. One is self hosted. One is hosted by Automattic. It is the ones which operate on the freemium model which are at risk. I suggest nobody have a free blog that you don’t want pulled. If you’re with Wix or Squarespace or Blogger or anywhere else that is freemium or a website/blog creator and you have any content you think might be cause for removal I suggest you look at a self-host alternative.

I can restore your wordpress blog if it gets pulled. I've just recovered Lily's. Because women in tech are awesome ;)

You can always look at blogs that have been pulled on the waybackmachine, so there was no need for that man to copy and paste the whole blog bless him.

Hopefully can get it back up soon. Women are unstoppable

WordPress are regularly banning feminist sites, it's in their new rules.

These people should hopefully be able to set up on other platforms?

Hopefully she can recover a majority of it.
