I just want to say a huge "thank you" to Rachel McKinnon.

They have helped to bring a hugely important topic into the mainstream media, and in doing so have peak-transed thousands of new people!

They have also attracted the attention of numerous iconic female sports stars: Martina and Dame Kelly Holmes, to name just two. This will surely encourage many more women to come forward.

You cannot buy publicity and exposure this good! Smile

Thank you Rachel. You may be a feminist icon after all! (But not quite in the way you envisioned...) Thanks

Well Dr M I won't pretend I was on the fence about this issue but plenty of my friends were. A personal attack on Dame Kelly and Sharron pushed them off it. So Gin and Wine to you!

I honestly wonder whether we are witnessing an experiment in applied philosophy. Is RmK testing the hypothesis of their own PhD thesis? Or testing where the limit is for how much self evident gobshite you can make people believe by sounding assertive.
