That’s really made me laugh! Can you imagine if those women with the finances, bought one of her books, every time she was called a transphobe. The MRAs/TRAs would go into melt down. Ignore her and she has a voice, so sells some books, or attempt to silence and no platform her and she sells more books. “WHAT TO DO? WHAT TO DO?”

Holy fuck that Yorkshire Post piece about Heathcliffe Bowen - and I don't only mean his Mesmac links:
Some of the offences were committed while Bowen, 50, was employed by Bradford Council as administrator of the city’s Safeguarding Children’s Board.
Wonder if he worked on any safeguarding guidelines?

She's not even speaking on trans issues, but an entirely separate matter. So she says one thing they disagree with and so must be silenced from speaking at all.

Mesmac have seen the BLAST project (support service for boys and young men who have been subject to sexual exploitation) moved to another charity last year after the Charity Commission investigated allegations of Mesmac staff having sexual relationships with service users.

That means that the Child Sexual Exploitation funding moved with it.

Mesmac are now chasing the trans funding instead, despite having no expertise in that area. Harassing Jenni Murray will be a means to an end with them.

Leeds Library is a private members library and they hold events on a wide variety of themes. I doubt very much that they will bow to the pressure.
