What are you planning for IWD tomorrow?

I'm going to:

  • stick up at least 50 FPFW postcards around;
  • put up a good article about Self ID on my RL FB account and interact with friends who respond;
  • have invited lots of women I know to drop in for a coffee any time during the day and I intend to ensure I bring up the subject of self-ID;
  • oh, and I'm sending in a load of sweets for the DDs' classmates.
Interested to hear any other "pledges" so I can copy some of them Grin.

I want to email my MP about single sex spaces - did you see this?

But I'm not exactly sure what to say, how much detail should I go into on the email?

Does an MP have to meet me? Could I just be short and sweet and ask for an appointment without going into lots of detail?

I think wokestra sounds really cool.

May wear my adult human female jumper and daughter will wear her girl jumper after school. See if work wants to recognise IWD.

Much like the op, I will be using up my stock of leaflets and stickers, then filling my social media feeds with inspirational women and their achievements, and finally going to the pub in my new #adult human female hoodie Grin
Oh, and hoping for some actual science on radio 4 in the morning ( a forlorn hope, but you never know!)

Rolling my eyes at the wokestera at work, most likely. Very much doubt us natal women will be allowed one day in the year for ourselves.

Ideas for if you're broke and depressed?

I'm putting together a set of digital postcards celebrating the achievements of contemporary women from my area though unfortunately won't be finished til next week.

Any other suggestions. I'll be at work.
