I'm about to meet Joan. Any words you'd like me to share with her?

WaddIelikeapenguin · 05/03/2019 12:44

I just meant the cache on your device cismy Smile

I have two MSPs who are definitely silently nodding along - how do we get them to stand up? Why the hell don’t they stand up!!!

Cismyfatarse1 · 05/03/2019 09:21

The reason I still had it was I had downloaded the Times on my iPad in the morning and did not download the "newer" edition later on - those are screenshots. I don't have a web cache but assume someone more tech savvy will do.

No idea why it has been removed but I have sent her a postcard plus one to my MSP who is (quietly) very supportive of her arguments.

Natsku · 05/03/2019 06:25

Very strange that the article was removed

WiggleXX · 04/03/2019 20:38

She is ambitious not representative. It furthered her career to be besties with the then FM didn't it?

WeWantJustice · 04/03/2019 20:14

I've just realised, one of the things that perplexed and disturbed me, was Nicola Sturgeon's friendship with Alex Salmond. For years she was his comrade in arms. She must have either known about the rumours about his behaviour, or embraced denial. His friendship with her, is what would have kept some women quiet about his alleged behaviour.

It actually isn't surprising that she''s turned out to be an Aunt.

AbigailMcGyn · 04/03/2019 20:09

Card is a great idea.

WiggleXX · 04/03/2019 20:03

The SNP have until now been the Borg, resistance is futile.

BetsyM00 · 04/03/2019 20:00

I archive all good Times articles now. Grin

MrsSnippyPants · 04/03/2019 19:47

Nothing about it on her Twitter feed. I still have the article open in a tab on my browser but daren't refresh it now!

terfsandwich · 04/03/2019 19:46

Nothing on twitter when I checked before I posted here that the article was down.

terfsandwich · 04/03/2019 19:45

Very weird. Engender must have had it pulled? Perhaps they have complained?

Beamur · 04/03/2019 19:43

I don't do Twitter. Any clues on her posts?

MrsSnippyPants · 04/03/2019 19:43

If anyone hasn't read it, the text is in the comments on Woman's Place Facebook page.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 04/03/2019 19:38

Having read it I can't see anything at all to merit it's removal Hmm

WiggleXX · 04/03/2019 19:37

what fuckery is this now?

well done on the screenshotting, I smell something fishy...

WaddIelikeapenguin · 04/03/2019 19:36

Cismy must have it cached - even the link you put up says removed. Very strange...

Beamur · 04/03/2019 19:34

I got article removed too.
Curiouser and curiouser.

Igneococcus · 04/03/2019 19:33

I can't see it anymore either.

Cismyfatarse1 · 04/03/2019 19:28

OK. Weird.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 04/03/2019 19:06

How odd Hmm

Did anyone archive it? (I've not read it yet Sad )

terfsandwich · 04/03/2019 19:04

"This article has been removed."

terfsandwich · 04/03/2019 19:03

The Times article has been taken down? Why is that?

SileneOliveira · 04/03/2019 18:53

Now don't get me wrong. I never, ever thought i'd be agreeing with a SNP politician. Ever. On anything.

But she has nailed it.

And she is super-brave because the SNP policy is to not allow dissent. Their MPs and MSPs are simply not allowed to voice opinions outside the official party line, which is exactly what Joan McAlpine has done. Political suicide. So it's something she obviously feels very strongly about.
