Piers was on Tucker Carlson a US show last night to talk about transgender & sport. Going by his tweets today he is still firmly team Martina.

Just to add to the debate about transgender athletes ... a very good interview with Professor of Physiology Alison Heather about fairness in sport when it comes to transwomen competing against female athletes.
Professor Heather is a speaker at the Speak up for Women conference in Auckland this week.

I'd like him to ask any of the high profile TW who hasn't transitioned & seems only to be self id such as LM or Eddie I exactly what their definition of a woman is.

I wonder if this will feature on GMB. Piers got in a right old flap over the Gillette ad and that was mentioned on GMB over several days....

Who will go on there to debate it I wonder? I will give Munroe their dues, theyre the only one with the bollocks (ahem) to go on these shows and actually discuss it with someone who might disagree with them.

Exactly this.

No women didn't ask for mixed sex sport afaik (although some exist, mostly equine based). It's the same old equality/equity conflation. I know it's PM's following so I shouldn't be surprised. It's just sad to see in such numbers.

I really don't understand this argument. As far as I know, women have never asked for all sporting events to be mixed sex.

Sad to see so many "They (women) asked for equality now they're complaining" style responses. I'd guess around 20%? Just goes to show feminism has a long way to go even without the GC/Trans debate.

Misogyny combined with a total lack of critical thinking skills.
Bear in mind many of those will be people who follow Piers Morgan!

Good, we need more men speaking out on the unfairness regards the sports issue, it cannot go unchallenged.
