Firing Martina from Allies is working out to be an own goal as more people stand up and speak out on this.

twitter.com/hashtag/TeamNavratilova?src=hash

We know how twitter works Hmm in regards to women speaking out so perhaps this thread could be a place to gather excellent quotes and pictures for people to spread across other platforms and show that Martina's views are shared not by a trickle of support but a tidal wave.

I feel in need of a very nice #TeamNavratilova picture to put on my fbook, any social media gurus around to advise?

There is a definite refreshing shift in the use of language recently to more accurately represent fact, especially in headlines. This seems like an excellent reflection of increasing public awareness and ongoing discussion with a growing refusal to be silenced.

This brilliant article clearly explains why language is important, please share widely.

If a relatively benign and common sense point – that women shouldn't be forced to compete against male powerlifters – can now get someone banned from the platform, Twitter is signaling an increasingly aggressive ideological enforcement regime

it is another indicator of how the American left's radical agenda forces it to deny objective facts. To justify their abortion agenda, they have long needed to argue that some human beings are not human beings...To justify their transgender agenda, they now argue that not all boys are boys.

Telfer would’ve trailed the last-placed male finalists by more than a half-second in the 60-meter dash and almost 1.7 seconds in the 200, but won the woman’s 60-meter hurdles by a half-second.

Who, after all, would want to live in a world like this — where we are all interchangeable, where nature is irrelevant, where men are the same as women, and where acknowledging the variations of humanity is relegated to the precincts of bigotry? How much drearier than the actual, diverse, fascinating natural world we live in.

Sharon Davies has been divorced for a good while now, hasn't she? But in any case, identity politics types feel quite happy to tell black persons that they are racists if they don't toe the line, so I don't think their bar is very high.

Pondering this. Wonder whether he was aware how unpopular it was with women and parents as the election got underway, or whether this was a retrospective realisation.

And then, with hindsight, does he still think pushing this unscientific and unpopular ideology worth it, given the immense damage done?

Refreshing realism from USAPL, fair and factual and making the (expert backed) point that maleness is a non negotiable birthright. They have referenced the IAAF and Fair Play for Women and clearly state Within those IOC Guidelines, each sport is given the latitude to determine how the guidelines are applied. The IOC Guidelines is not a blanket approval over all sports. For anyone looking to template a model for fairness in women's sports, this is the link you want.

Shows that our thinking is changing and the biggest change of all is happening among women aged 18-24.

It's worth remembering, though, that young women in this age group are more susceptible to the liberal man-centred be-nice brand of feminism. Plenty will grow out of it as they develop confidence and the strength of peer pressure wanes.

So many women who think equality has been achieved at the age of 21 are fierce feminists by 40. I think we'll see that trend continue.

WTAF is a "trend"?
Is men destroying women's sport a "trend"
Sport was, is and always should be based on biology, never on social preferences.

clitherow · 29/04/2019 08:45

clith it’s not about setting records. It’s about the chance to stand on the podium. It’s about fairness.

I agree 2B. This is what I think too. And I completely support efforts to stand up for women's sports and think that people should do this at every opportunity. But you, me, Martina, Sharon Davies etc, I'm afraid to say, are dinosaurs who are probably looking at the world through dinosaur-shaped glasses.

Hundreds of other people in universities, sports organisations, government and educational institutions obviously have a very different pov otherwise this would not even be an issue. Sport is a multi-million pound business and tool of propaganda.

We must add to this the fact that we are living in the relatively early days of a bio-technological revolution which will make the industrial revolution look like a walk in the park. The central plank of this revolution is that we must change the way that we look at the body: sport will be one of the major vectors for this.

Think of it like this. Imagine if an able-bodied athelete wanted to replace his/her limbs with the prosthetics that are being developed byProfessor Herr at MIT as in this clip that I posted earlier.

There would be a massive outcry.

If we move through time by fifty years to a population that has swallowed trans ideology - that is brought up on the No Outsiders Programme when we can all be what we want to be irrespective of our biology then things might look a little different. Bodily mutilation is accepted by these people because breast binding, double mastectomies at thirteen, puberty blockers etc have long been accepted. We have now moved into the era when biotechnology is being used to sculpt the body into whatever we want - the constraints of nature are now a thing of the past.

The "movers and shakers" aren't interested in what you or I think - they have their eyes set on the 0-18 year-olds.

Many scientists call this dream "human augmentation". It is being hatched at a laboratory near you
