We know how twitter works Hmm in regards to women speaking out so perhaps this thread could be a place to gather excellent quotes and pictures for people to spread across other platforms and show that Martina's views are shared not by a trickle of support but a tidal wave.

I feel in need of a very nice #TeamNavratilova picture to put on my fbook, any social media gurus around to advise?

Sunday times next week is that? I think it's about time I buy one in support. I don't know if I will agree with her ideas of solutions but I am smiling from ear to ear at her cool defiance of the usual bullies.

Language shift prediction - well funded AWA trans ideologues have a real mean streak, and they really do get a kick out of seeing compliant lesbian women do all that 'Stand by your trans' stuff.

I suspect that, just as a lot of LGB people are valiantly trying to wrestle their acronym back, the powers that be will pull exactly this 'Putting the T first' switcheroo. In fact, I'm sure that was a t-shirt slogan at some trans pride day recently with the YouTube woodland creatures. They won't see it as erasure, it'll just be another step in supporting THE most marginalized group ever.

I didn't know this, sorry for my ignorance, but Gaby was a gymnast when she was younger. Amazing all these women who have competed at a high level in sport having the same opinion.

If Jonathan Liew thinks this is an 'issue people can politely agree on', well, he may be right many people discussing his article (comments on it, MN thread...don't know about twitter?) do seem to agree (though not all exactly politely) that he's a sexist idiot who's completely wrong about it.
