www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/transgender-women-should-entitled-womb-13972102

"Because once the medical community accept this as a treatment for cis-women with uterine infertility, such as congenital absence of a womb, then it would be illegal to deny a trans-female who has completed her transition.

"The most important step is the harvesting from the donor as great care is required to avoid damage to the arteries and veins supplying the uterus.
Trans females have a much narrower pelvis than cis-women of the same height, but there would still be room for them to carry a child.

“Supplemental hormones could be taken to replicate the changes that occur in the body when a woman is pregnant.

I'm also glad they realised it was nothing but a fabricated, malicious lie! I've never been so humiliated in my life, I did that British thing when you apologise for no reason, like I had wasted their time?! 🙈

I have a feeling they will go back to the complainant, they didn't seem overly impressed by the whole fiasco.

I can't blame them, because I think there is a huge push on clamping down on "hate crimes" so they probably have targets to meet and adhere to, however having said that I think more needs to be done to safeguard people against false accusations!

Smotheroffive · 13/02/2019 21:20

Yes, evidence was clear proof of false allegation, and for the protection of UK's citizens they should have a duty to pursue this bloody nasty tra

Smotheroffive · 13/02/2019 21:19

This is very common, very common. False allegations from every quarter, not just trans crap. Amazing the police even followed it up, its a sign of how crazy fucked up this all is that they actually did.

FeministCat · 13/02/2019 20:57

That is crazy, Coach. I am glad the officers at least had the good sense to realize the reports were false, and be on their way.

Someone does need to crack down on those making these kinds of false allegations though; I hope the officers went back to investigate with the complainant a little more (perhaps if they were bored enough Wednesday night...).

ICJump · 13/02/2019 20:07

Oh Coach that is utter bullshit. I’m sorry.

misscockerspaniel · 13/02/2019 20:05

CoachBombay Astonishing Wine Wine Wine

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 19:53

We live in a small rural area, can't be much for the police to do on a Wednesday night round here....😂

IDoN0tCare · 13/02/2019 19:51

I couldn’t stand Margaret Thatcher, but by fuck, talk about the nanny state!

AssassinatedBeauty · 13/02/2019 19:49

Why did two police officers need to come to your house? Surely a report of something on a public social media conversation can be looked at by a civilian police employee using a computer? It's a shocking waste of police time.

littlbrowndog · 13/02/2019 19:43

What is wrong with people running to the police all the tim3 for a convo on social media
Ffs

IDoN0tCare · 13/02/2019 19:34

I have asked for feedback, the officers said it has been a false allegation against me and no further action will be taken.

That’s not good enough. I thought making a false complaint was against the law.
The criminal offence of making false allegations is covered under the common law offence of perverting the course of public justice. The actual wording of the offence is 'Where a person deliberately makes a false allegation about an offence in order to have a person arrested.

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 19:34

Yes they are I believe but that would be up to the police to sort out I suppose 🤷 I'm not sure on that one sorry.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 13/02/2019 19:31

Aren’t false(or crap) allegations a crime?

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 19:28

I think I know who reported me (forensic of a friend.of a friend kind of thing) and they came to my house.

I know 100% that it's regarding a non private conversation on a social media platform. Of which I showed to the police willingly without concern.

It was apparent that what had been reported was false as I was told, "this is not what we have been told was said."

I have asked for feedback, the officers said it has been a false allegation against me and no further action will be taken.

IDoN0tCare · 13/02/2019 19:19

I would demand to see the actual complaint, CoachBombay. I don’t th8n’ it’s enough that the particular police man said there was no crime committed. He still interviewed you. The complainant either lied, about what you did, or the police wanted to make you back down. Either way, I would lodge a complaint.

AncientLights · 13/02/2019 19:18

Coach can you tell us more? Which police force, did they phone you or come knocking on your door and how did they know who you are & how to find you?

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 19:17

I'm gob smacked! What the actual fuck?!?

Thank God the police officers were pretty diasmisive of it from the get go, felt more like a paperwork excercise than an actual "telling off" one even said "I'm sorry we have disturbed you this evening." So they knew it was bullshit!

littlbrowndog · 13/02/2019 19:12

I fucking shit you not, I have been reported to the police for a hate crime for discussing the ethics of all this.... Once the police spoke to me the officer decided it was nothing, and I was quite able to question the ethics of experimental medicine....

This world has literally gone mad!!!

Oldermum156 · 13/02/2019 17:32

They don't understand having a baby is more than just carrying it in a pouch like a kangaroo for nine months. You get this when you listen to anti-abortion protestors tell you all the time things like "you could just have the baby ad give it away!" as if you are just a container a baby passes through and it will do nothing to the entire rest of your body, which is a system wide support - your cardiovascular system, your endocrine system, the calcium in your bones, your excretory system, and more - tied into the cutesy little womb pouch tee hee eyeroll.
I mean they really want to recreate stepford wives here but it isn't going to work.

Smotheroffive · 12/02/2019 20:42

Dont become an organ donor then is the only way to be sure.

You can never know whether they might just suddenly change the rules without telling anyone, a la self ID

WeRiseUp · 12/02/2019 17:32

MRAs, incels

Don't forget the pedos, sex criminals and other perverts! They'd be sad not to get a mention!

Vixxxy · 12/02/2019 17:16

Stop bullying a marginalised minority.

Who is bullying anyone? And predatory men are not a marginalised minority, they are everywhere it seems. Its not transsexual people who are the problem, its the MRAs, incels and such who have latched onto the 'transgender' umbrella..shoving themselves under so they can claim that they are the most oppressed of the oppressed and use this to attack feminists, their fave hobby..except now they can claim to be 'right on' when doing so as obviously terfs all need to DIAF and such.

R0wantrees · 12/02/2019 16:06

It used to be the case on the old donor card though that people could opt out of donating certain organs. I know people who, for example, would not allow eyes.

Jeanhatchet · 12/02/2019 14:58

@misscockerspaniel

Nope. Apparently not. I've suggested to the NHS Donor representative that it should definitely be the case
