“I also have a message to those people who believe they can restrict trans women’s rights, deny their human rights, or exclude them from women-only spaces in the name of feminism: You are not feminists. Your views are not welcome in the Liberal Democrats.”

Just in case anyone is interested in what the Lib Dems are saying.

I have a message for the LibDems: fuck off.

Doobigetta · 01/02/2019 18:41

I binned my LibDem membership a few months ago because of this shitty attitude to women. They still send me regular begging emails. Every single one of which has just been forwarded back to them with an explanation of why I will never give them another penny, and will campaign against them from now on. And I’ve promised to report them to the ICO if they keep abusing my personal data, that they no longer have a right to hold. I’ve set up an automated reply to keep bouncing back anything they send me with the same message.
Fing cs. They deserve to be annihilated. I suspect they will be.

Message from the Gulag.
Cock off Lynne,

MillytantForceit · 01/02/2019 18:36

Are those flying Yogis still around?

They might be the choice of reason.

2ndWaveFeminist · 01/02/2019 18:35

Sal Brinton said it

forms for those who do not wish to identify as male or female.

Dear Lynne,

Thanks for the offer, but filling in a form will not enable to me to escape the consequences of being born female or to be recognised as anything other than female.

On the other hand, by re-enforcing the idea that there is such a thing as a correct female or male 'identity', but no such thing as female biology, you make my life harder.

Therefore, despite voting Lib Dem in every previous election, in a constituency where that makes a difference, I won't be offending you with my vote in future.

Beamur · 01/02/2019 18:34

Does she have any pearls of wisdom about Transmen?

Fecking idiots the lot.

Fairyflaps · 01/02/2019 18:30

Any mention of souls?

AspieAndProud · 01/02/2019 18:20

They couldn't have just...copied it from an American document, could they?

Her next tweet says we should open the border to Mexico.

ZuttZeVootEeeVro · 01/02/2019 18:14

They couldn't have just...copied it from an American document, could they?

It wouldn't surprise me if they did.

Whatsnewwithyou · 01/02/2019 18:13

How dare she tell us what a feminist is???? How bloody dare she! Ive been a feminist all my life and I'll be damned if this irrelevant tosser is taking that away from me. I'm absolutely fuming!!!!

ToeToToe · 01/02/2019 18:13

Thanks Lynne. You were never getting my vote anyway, but my mum votes Lib Dem. She won't when I show her this - she's very pro-women's rights.

And just so you know - fighting for gender neutral is not a feminist act.

Women fought for private spaces for female bodied people - women and girls. For their privacy and safety.

ChesterGreySideboard · 01/02/2019 18:13

I might vote Lib Dem just to piss her off.
When did she get made head girl and gets to decide who is and isn’t a feminist?

StarsAndWater · 01/02/2019 18:11

The LibDems lost me when they said a parliament made up of 50% men and 50% trans women would be an improvement.

I've been a dyed in the wool leftie all my life but it'll be a cold day in hell before I vote for a party that thinks zero female MPs is a an improvement.

Foxtrot Oscar, Lynne.
Over.

OldCrone · 01/02/2019 18:08

The screenshot also says that Lib Dems think that male and female are 'identities'. I'd like to see them try to explain that to a farmer.

Miane · 01/02/2019 18:07

**

The last LDer who came to my door looked so sad and whipped, just sighed when I told why I couldn’t vote for them any longer, poor lad.

The question is who do we vote for?

Not Lib Dem’s, Green Party or Labour clearly.
Not the Tories for obvious reasons.

I’m a floating voter but usually I’m deciding between parties, these days I’m desperately trying to find someone to vote for.

AnyFucker · 01/02/2019 18:07

Feckin' eejits

VickyEadie · 01/02/2019 18:04

Why does that screenshot of the Libdems' 'wants' in schools say they want gender-neutral (sic) "bathrooms"? We never, ever call toilets bathrooms in the UK.

They couldn't have just...copied it from an American document, could they?

Message received loud and clear, Lynne. You’re clear.

Return message: I will actively campaign against any Lib Dem candidate who stands in my constituency by making sure every person of voting age I know is aware of your wish to make all services, provisions and places mixed sex. It’s going to go down a storm among the middle aged liberal ladies I know.

Am I clear?

GCAcademic · 01/02/2019 18:02

Oh, OK. No vote from me then.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 01/02/2019 18:02

Who’s he then?
