Say what you like about the science. It's fiction, right?

The good thing is it's almost like they took every unfounded argument from this very page and gloriously took the piss out of it.

I feel mighty satisfied.

I agree, Jackshouse. The characters are supposed to be doctors and scientists, so it's reasonable to expect the writers to make sure the basic science is correct.

Have only seen the first episode so far but had to laugh at the squaddies marching to Left Right Left Right as if they didn't know which leg to use next.

I was disppointed at scientists saying all embryos have the potential become to become male or female. I thought they would at leAst know that.

I haven’t seen it yet. DH and I use it as an excuse to shout at the telly - ‘why on earth are you going into that building on your own’?! Kind of thing.

Is it worth watching?

I love Silent Witness and don’t care about the fact that pathologists don’t get involved with murder investigations or whatnot. Fiction innit.

I thought these episodes were highs and lows. The death threats from feminists made me v cross. The immediate acceptance from scientists that the people had all changed sex made me raise an eyebrow. And the “Chris was always a woman, you understand that?” at the end was a bit much. As was the very end with the wife picking up the husband - wtf?! He did not deserve her being so nice to him!

But the Kelly character talking about what a woman felt like etc and acknowledging how much hurt she had caused was really good.

The army was a bit rubbish. Didn't even mind a squaddie being outside without headgear. Obvs not the British Army 😂

The lift still worked in a derelict factory, even though lifts get isolated early in any rundown because they need so much maintenance and elf’nsafety.

Neither the local rodents, nor the birds, nor the roaches had eaten the spilt wheat off the factory floor.

I used to work for an electricity company billing commercial properties. They almost never get cut off. Someone is getting billed but I don’t think anyone really checks it’s paid.
