Pub in Sheffield accused of transphobia, fights back

Seems that the basis of the accusations is that they hosted a WPUK meeting at some point. The two people accusing them in this particular case are local councillors. They are now threatening libel action.

Reading the blog it seems that this is a pub I would very much like to go and visit if I am ever in Sheffield.

It's so reminiscent of Ade Harrop accusing Posie Parker of allowing women to appropriate the word women and making men feel unsafe.

Sheffield councillors are too busy with their massacre of the city's trees as part of a disastrously stupid and costly PFI deal to have time to engage in any kind of critical thinking.

I can’t even begin... have local politicians for nothing better to do? No homeless, schools being closed down, crime (the real type), traffic issues and local youth clubs/retirement homes/sports centres being low on funds?
