So angry. Just woke up to a discussion with Travis Top shop let me change with 12 year old girls or I'll scream and scream till I'm sick and some handmaiden writer. The whole thing was awful, one sided, and not challenged in any way by the presenter.
The real gem was when the handmaiden was talking about the duties of 'cis' people who are apparently 'safe in the world'.
Why was this left unchallenged?
Can anyone be so clueless that they do not realise women are NOT safe in this world. It's not even 8am and I want to tear my hair out.
Good morning.

I was imagining a conversation last night with a couple of woke women I know and I will be getting the fabulous user name 'cis my arse' In when I do.

'They' did manage to slip in something about 'their' show. But it was mostly just about the specialness of 'they'.

Is "they" trying to bludge taxi fare again? Or does "they" have another performance art gig to promote?

MsMcWoodle · 29/12/2018 08:10

Exactly! This feels to me like brainwashing.

I heard it too, infuriating, particularly the lack of challenge to such a lie.

The language they use from top to bottom is designed to confuse people and obscure the categories we are talking about.

As the naive, unprepared presenter tries to grapple with the idea of cis gender people and their oppression of poor trans, the main point goes whizzing by.

Pure men's rights activism.

MsMcWoodle · 29/12/2018 08:09

I don't know that it will have peaked people though, because the bullshit gender theory bollocks was just stated as fact with no challenge along the lines of 'some very special people don't identify with their sex' so obvs need special treatment. If you're only half thinking that early in the morning...
Nobody said that people don't generally 'identify' with their sex. They just are.
Yes but you're right. None of it makes any sense.
How many impossible things are we supposed to believe before breakfast?

How infuriating. I'm glad that was aired. It will have peaked a few more people.

None of the stuff this cult says makes sense. Just the other day I was being told by my 'friend' how the media is stirring up hatred against trans people and it's actually virtually impossible to tell if someone is trans or not and most women wouldn't bat an eyelid about sharing with a little old trans woman.

Except then on the flipside they're horribly vulnerable and society hates them and cis people have no idea about how they suffer.

You can't have both being true.
